The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra?

(If it is, is that the "You can't make aliens dance - you don't know what you're dealing with!" scene?)

Interesting stuff.  Now that your game isn't broken (for me), I played the Australia map and think I broke Australia (laugh) (I attempted to replicate the real life introduction of cane toads.)

Welcome again, older, wiser and more technically astute Matthew! ;-D

I wasn't blaming anyone, it was just a dumb attempt at humour... :-[

That's what I thought you were doing buddy!

No need to blame anyone, there has previously been a bug in the games page that would show an error message when creating a new DB entry. This was confusing and might have caused people to create several entries unintentionally.

I removed the two redundant entries.

Yeah happened to me once.  Thanks for sorting it Cat!

Just noticed these:

The Eternal Night http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/2003/
The Eternal Night http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/2004/
The Eternal Night http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/2005/

(2003 doesn't have the screenshot so please keep 2005 and get rid of the other two.)

Do you plan puzzles ahead or do you invent them on the fly?

Personally I use a combination of both.  Planning ahead is generally better though.

Flow charts are really helpful for keeping track of the game flow.  (Not that I'm much good at using them myself, but they are undoubtedly very useful!)

Congratulations on a great-looking first issue! 8-)

@SilverSpook - can't speak for anyone else but I had no issues... I take it you've checked if your email client has put it in the Junk folder by mistake?

I like how the first people to comment are the EGA and SciFi fanatics!

The very best sort of people! :-D :P

General Discussion / Re: RIP Gene Wilder

Don't think there's ever been anyone quite like him.  I particularly loved his performances in Young Frankenstein and The Producers.  Goodbye Gene, you were a true great.

When a game you looked forward to for a long time ends up

... not getting released.

I will always love the painting of the elephant.

Wait... aren't you supposed to ignore the elephant in the room?

I hate it when I'm really close to the completion of a big project, really REALLY REALLY close, almost there, close enough to touch it, and then somehow... I'm not quite as nearly there as I thought I was. >:( 8-0

Arj0n and gameboy - wow. Love Futurama, love gameboy's art style.  Both your games look awesome.
