Island Wars 2.

I was thinking of that too (if that's the one released by the same guy who made the Chicken Invaders games?).

I suggest a sequel titled "In The Land of the Marshmallow King".

Awesome game! ;-D

As a Liverpool fan I've been very happy to see Lovren and Milner in particularly look like new men under the Klopp regime! ;-D But worried we'll keep Henderson... I know he's had injury troubles but honestly he's been awful in every match I've seen this season (admittedly not all that many).  Looking forward to Wednesday!!!

Anyone else going to join in this league btw?

England's midfield is a worry, you do wonder where the defence-splitting passes are going to come from.  I think they have a lot of players that on their day can be very, very good though, and the much maligned Milner is an assist machine.

In all honesty I would love Wales to do well, but if Bale (or, to a lesser extent, Allen) gets injured, I wonder if they've got enough about them to bother any of the better sides.  Bale provides the moments of genius and Allen keeps them ticking over in midfield.

Would like to see someone new win it, would be boring if Germany won again! :-D  It would be absolutely hilarious if Northern Ireland or Albania won it.

Well, Germany is usually at least decent when they play in tournaments, no matter how good or bad they played beforehand...

True, very true.  More interesting to see whether Spain can bounce back really.  Or could Portugal finally turn up properly at a big tournament?

I actually think England might do pretty well this time and get into the semis perhaps.  Pretty tidy if somewhat unimaginative squad, but if Vardy and Kane are really firing, there's every chance of getting some impressive results.  Nice to see Wales back in the big time, when was the last time they qualified for a tournament?

Interesting plot and gorgeous screens, teaming up two successful commercial adventure game developers, what's not to love?!

Hmm... looks like a split screen Gauntlet clone, but I can't quite place it.  Unless it actually is one of the Gauntlet games, but I don't recall them using split screen.

It's Match Day II - I pass my turn to Cassie :D

Yes!

Thought the overhead shot power bar would have given it away!  Wow I spent so much time playing that game...

Is it Footballer of the year?

Although I loved that game (it was bizarre buying "Goal Cards" but somehow insanely addictive!) that's not it.

Cassie was very, very close.  When you see the answer you'll maybe think I'm being pedantic, but... maybe not.

Match of the Day? Don't tell me there was a MOTD game! Was Des Lynam in it?

Actually I'm not sure if there was ever a game with the exact title "Match of the Day" - it would have been amazing to have Des in it though.  Watching "Grandstand" on the weekend was pure escapism.

But no, this game is not "Match of the Day".

And now for something completely different...

Yes, this is what footie games looked like long ago.  Speccy owners will instantly recognise it!

I saw this earlier today.  I found it completely messed with my head if I looked at it for too long!  Things keep seeming like they're moving...

Ah now this one I do know!  It's the first playable room in Flight of the Amazon Queen.  Quite a fun game (although terrible GUI! :-D)

I've made it all the way to England vs Wales now (a match I remember watching with my granddad about 3 decades ago, back when Ian Rush was my favourite player).  I just can't call it atm... will have another look at the remaining fixtures later and come up with some scorelines.  Not feeling particularly confident about any of them - not enough to use my Wild Card anyway!

The most fascinating thing is that both Germany and Spain seem to have gone off the boil... will they bring back their A game in time for the tournament?

Grats on the release! ;-D  Looks interesting.

Is "amuck" a real word? :P

Haha you're so impatient, I did say I was happy to do another take! :P

Trailer looks good. It's like having a total eclipse of the heart... 8-)
