Thanks you guys, the name of the game changed due to me wanting release the game and sale it. But I can't do that with OSD. I actually have a finished version of OSD3 with all the changes but I'll never release it because I can't find good royalty free music, I can't find someone to help with thw music for free, and I don't want to release anymorr games with copyrighted music.

TBH I find this difficult to believe, there's plenty of good quality royalty-free music around.  Have you tried this guy's?

Why does the main character in that game, look like the Guybrush Threepwood sprite from Monkey Island 2? (wtf)

From the MobyGames page:

"Amateur made, shareware imitation of Monkey Island 2 / Simon the Sorceror."

"The hero looks suspiciously like Guybrush Threepwood from Monkey Island 2 - and the game even begins with him hanging from a rope."

Though it does also say "But don't let that put you off - this is a quality game in its own right." so might be worth a look.  I've never heard of it tbh!

Grats on the release, looks great!

Haha cute game!  Enjoyed it, as did my little girl, and I'm sure that Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkles and Rainbow Dash would have as well.

Loved the light and fluffy game with disasters and quite a dark sinister turn at the end!

Amazing graphics, good writing, nice puzzles and suitably upbeat music.  Great stuff!

Gonna try this game with my little girl, who is busy ensuring that I know the names of every My Little Pony character. (Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!)

Count me in.... i already have a few ideas (laugh)

slasher

Mate I think the inclusion of a toothless bearded hag should be obligatory in your case, just because I really want to see what you'd do with the idea (laugh)

I don't think I can do enough drugs in the allotted timeframe that would produce the required mental state AND allow me to code anything. I've read the lyrics and listened to the song a few times now and still don't have the faintest freakin' clue what the hell is going on here. Freakin' hippies, man! :D

Dude that's why we narrowed it down to these very simple things...

- The game must feature a character called Jack (doesn't have to be the player character)
- Gas (in whatever form you wish)
- It's all right now (interpret as you wish)

As for the required mental state... I thought you already had it, man.  I'm disappointed in you.  Though don't make that a reason to go running for Mother's Little Helper...

:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

He looks good against that backdrop, it will be interesting to see what sort of game this will be. Best of luck! :)

Agreed! (nod)(nod)(nod)

Glad you found the game you were looking for, data ;-D

Can you remember anything else at all about the game?  Was it a comedy game / detective / mystery / etc?  Were the graphics 2D / 3D?  I've tried having a look to see if I can find anything likely but haven't come up with anything yet.

Any idea which magazine it might have been?  I'm assuming it was a PC game - was it on a PC Format disk perhaps?

Haha great game concept!

But are you saying that girls don't go for guys with triangles for heads?  I'm not sure that's right.

This is so shiny it's making the photochromic lenses of my glasses darken.    Mind blown!

Thank you!  Always nice to hear from a sloth fan (fashionably late of course :-D).

Are you trying to trick us here?  At first I was looking and thinking this was an Intellivision game or something from an ancient system, but looking closer there are actually a lot of different shades of undithered grey here (not 50 but a good number), which would actually suggest a more modern system.  The apparent low pixel count may also be a misnomer...

(I don't know what it is, just thinking out loud!)
