My only plan so far is go to America (as its 10 years since Mittens NY) and ride some awesome rides at some point, thus completing a 30 year desire. Just wish it could've been the back to the future ride ;)

Firstly, the BttF ride was awesome, I still remember it from quite some years ago.  Pity it's not still going.

Secondly... don't you have some, er, games to release in 2014?!? (nod)

Pretty sure, but the game was never in the database. I asked bici, and he said it's eligible.

Well I know what's going to sweep the board then! :-D  It would have been interesting to see Resonance and Primordia go head to head last year, both amazing games.  I'm really not certain which one would have come out the winner, they were both so good but in slightly different ways.

Anyway... I've got a couple of games to put up for consideration:

Troll Song Demo
(Hopefully worth a nod for Best Demo?  Also maybe for Tino's excellent Character Art and Background Art.  Maybe even voice work if you liked my infinitely cheesy fake French accent! (laugh))

Captain Disaster in: "The Dark Side of the Moon"
(Maybe you might feel it's worthy of nomination for Best Short Game, Best Music, Best Dialogue Writing - though I fear many people who played the game might have missed most of the dialogues out?!  Maybe you liked the Player Character or Floyd as the Non-Player Character?)

I would also like to draw attention to AprilSkies' excellent first game, Donald Dowell and the Ghost of Barker Manor.  I'm still amazed that this was a first game.  Definitely in with a shout for Best Puzzles, Player Character, Background Art...

Really the only other thing left to say is:

CLOD SAY VOTE FOR TROLL SONG IN ALL CATEG... CATIG... CAATT... ... ... TINGS.

Having trouble with the Time Machine.  Pretty sure I've worked out what to do on the second line, but it's not working...

It's even more impressive considering it's your first game!

I didn't realise quite how big the game was before I started exploring the mansion.

LOVED the Guest Book, btw!

This is the biggest, most high-profile RPG ever made with AGS isn't it?

I dunno - probably on a par with AGDI's QFG2 remake, but in a sense this is even better because it's original!

Congrats to all on the team - this is a mammoth project and looks awesome.

Played a bit last night, enjoying it so far.  Love the graphics and the protagonist.  There did seem to be a little too much repetition and lack of interactions here and there, but overall it looks great, sounds great and is a lot of fun so far.  Nice job!

I'm sure a number of you knew the answer already but in all seriousness do you think you would've ever figured it out without it being explained to you?

In all honesty, not in a month of Sundays!

LostTrainDude did a great review of The Shivah: Kosher Edition for my site.  Thanks LTD!

... so I eventually decided that I didn't want to be the only game blogger on the surface of this planet not to have reviewed Dave Gilbert.

Thanks for the reply - late or not.:-D

Well, I'm not promising anything, but I've always wanted to make a RON game so maybe...

America's Next Top Model?

Good question, Cat.

I think unless there were other factors - such as entering a time-limited competition - I think the minimum test period I would be happy with would tend to be 4 weeks.  I like to have 3 testers.  With a much bigger game, I would maybe want to double to testing time and possibly introduce a fourth tester.

A slight caveat to that - this is in addition to the continual process of testing the game ourselves (as in, whatever dev team I'm working with at the time), as development and testing tend to go hand in hand.  But I would definitely want a dedicated test team in addition to that.  Also, if it's a big game, I'd want each segment of the game to be thoroughly beta tested individually before the game as a whole was tested.

I'm in the testteam now and will make sure this game will be as bug-free as possible.

NO BUG SHALL PASS!
