Congrats on the release - looks interesting, I'll try to find time to play it.  I like the idea of mixing fantasy, reality and sci-fi.  Your graphic style is nice too - and any game that has on its feature list "silliness" deserves a look! :-D

This just looks more impressive every time I see it.  8-)

So... another month... another pick of the month... who's up for choosing this time?

I enjoyed the madness of MAGS! :-D 8-0  Hope people stick around to the end of our game for the final dialogue line in-game and the final message in the closing credits. ;)

Quote from: CaptainDAw, and I was going to say Flashback, but thought that if it was that you'd at least have said Another World was close!
I wanted to, but I changed my mind just before posting, so I added sort of a hinty-smiley :D

That was a hint smiley?  Rats.  I thought it was a "ha ha you're wrong" smiley. :-[

The question is why, why not take the elevator all the way to the top on days he's alone.

Ah, I see.

Because the stairs are outside the building and he likes to get the exercise as long as he wouldn't get wet or appear rude to others sharing the lift?

Another World?

A man lives in the 20th floor penthouse, each morning he takes the elevator tot he ground floor and walks to work, on rainy days or days other people join him in the elevator he always goes up directly to his penthouse, otherwise he goes up to the 12th floor and then takes the stairs.

Um... isn't there meant to be a question?  Or am I missing something here?  (Not unlikely I admit!!)

Might try this to see what results come up.  Nice find.

Selmiak will probably shout at me (AGAIN!! 8-08-08-0), but I just had to post a quick screenshot to show off his awesome background art for our MAGS game...

Since I got two out of three, is it my turn, Stupot's turn, or a fault?  How do we work out a riddle solved by team effort?

Wait... is that your riddle?

My method is to find a willing (=unwitting) programmer and annoy the hell out of them by repeatedly sending them extra bits to add into the game.

I know ideally you'd script the entire game in detail before you start actually putting it together, but I just can't do that.  To me game-making is very much an iterative process, and while for me the story and characters generally get developed first, every aspect of the game is up for change right up to the moment you release it - unless you're already VERY happy with it.  In terms of gameplay mechanics, I think getting your User Interface sorted should definitely be the first job.

(Apologies to Hernald, The Bit Priest and Selmiak - all unwitting programmers who've worked with me so far!!)

Congrats on the release!  Having played it pre-release I know that it's a bit of a different game experience to your typical adventure game - though obviously has many elements of traditional adventure gaming in it - and I think it has a unique charm as a result. 8-)
