Okay, now I've found 5 endings -

can't believe I never thought of trying to destroy the power core, though not entirely sure why Scraper just floated there and let me!

So... are there more than 5 endings, or is that it?

Any pointers?  Also, are there actually more than 4 endings?

Maybe get rid of "for Piano 4 hands" completely, take your name off the top, have "Composed by Nicolas Sideris" just above "Pianists: ..."?

I kind of like the 3rd one, the contrast between a lighter background at the top and darker at the bottom looks good to me.  In the pdf I like the 2nd one, the first could work but only if the music itself could be described as "abstract".  Otherwise I pretty much agree with what Anian has already said.

Nick, what is your your target audience for this?

Oops yeah sorry getting those two confused.

Actually, now that I come to think of it, I was hoping for an extended version of Abner the Amazing...  (nod)

Anyway gspit you you totally check out Patchwork anyway, ignore the fact that I was (yet again) hopelessly confused!

It's not that short, though, is it? I mean, it takes about an hour to beat, I've seen shorter games than that. :)

Sorry, take out the "very" from my sentence!  :P

gspit1124 - in case you missed it, the excellent Patchwork from the Bake Sale has recently been released as freeware - http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=47466.0.

On the games in question, on their game page at the bottom of the bit entitled "About this game", click on "See the people who made this game and any other games they've worked on >>>".  If you're not listed as playtester for the games you've tested, you'll need to get in touch with the person who put the game on the database (first name in that list) and ask them to credit you properly.  It should then automatically appear on your profile.

Hope this helps!

Loved this game even though it was obviously very short.  Any chance that you might consider doing a talkie version?

Coming soon on my website... a potentially interesting interview with the guys making AstroLoco!  Possibly even before the game gets released!  It's all you ever wanted and more!

(Don't you just hate it when people post stuff and put an exclamation mark at the end of every sentence?)

Here lies Captain Disaster
Of calamity he was a master
He was attacked by the Bjork
and a yeti armed with a fork
If only he could have run faster!

Wow Ilyich you are such a good artist!  That's just brilliant.

Atmosphere, humour, gripping storyline, great characterisation, excellent voice acting, good use of sound effects, quality graphics, detailed animation, a variety of puzzle types and difficulty, made with talented people who put a lot of love into it.

Is that enough for you?  :P

I would LOVE to see Captain Disaster and his trusty companion Zero-Bit present an award at the ceremonies this year! :)

That would be cool, but I'm pretty sure he would make a mess of things somehow!  :P  Probably endangering the whole galaxy in the process...  (roll)

I too was pretty disappointed with the ending Mati256 talked about to be honest, although it was my second ending.

Apologies if anyone has already asked this but how many endings are there?  I found the two obvious ones, I had an idea there might be another one with

being able to fix Crispin - man I hope you are able to do that, the little dude#s sacrifice really brought a lump to my throat!!

.

But even with being a little disappointed with the ending, and not really taking to the game fully until I got to Metropol, I have to say that the main section of the game was absolutely brilliant - in terms of story and atmosphere, aesthetics, characters, puzzles - particularly the multiple solutions to many puzzles.  The music was terrifc, reminded me of Vangelis' Bladerunner score in quite a few places.  Congrats to the dev team, you did an amazing job!

Okay, even if you can do anything VAGUELY RESEMBLING Brummie, please contact me.

(Or, if you're a male voice actor who could sound reasonably female, and do a Brummie accent!)

But aren't there already "Crackwell" games?  I haven't played them but surely they're based somewhat on the Blackwell games?
