UPDATE:
Okay, school's been hectic, but I've managed to get these up, showcasing the most recent backgrounds and my new, buggy and incomplete GUI!
I expect it will be a while before I update again, but I'll keep working on it.

Yay, buggy and incomplete GUI!   ;D

This is beginning to look good, I'm glad to hear you're still working on it.  Just think of the feeling of accomplishment when you release the completed game!  (Something I'm never likely to achieve myself... ::))

For the record, I also think the graphics are fine.  If anyone complains about them, just roll your eyes and tell them that you deliberately made them retro.  That should shut them up - retro is cool (officially).  :D

Very nice little game, awesome graphics and music, some great puzzles packed into a small game!  ;D

Since we're talking reviews...

I've just posted my review of The Marionette -  http://captaind-pc-gaming.blogspot.com/2009/11/freeware-adventure-game-review.html

Sorry if the formatting of that review looks a little strange - it'll be odd in lower screen resolutions.  I blame Blogger!  ;D

Seriously, this was a fantastic game, one of the best AGS games I've played this year - or, come to think of it, ever (and I don't even like the genre you chose to make a game about!)

Wow - this is an incredible game.  Great graphics and music, good puzzles, strong writing and amazing storyline.

Yay!  I was looking out for this one... hundreds of Star Wars games around, Star Trek hasn't had too many (so far...)

I know I'm just repeating everyone else, but that looks superb.  Really looking forward to this game.  ;D

It's ready with the first plan, but the plan has changed in the meantime. Anyway, I want you guys to know I'm working on some suggestions on the interface and all, and I'm going to have a short demonstration really soon.

I just know you're going to hate me for this, but...

How soon is really soon?  :o

~~~Direct3D 9 (albeit only in 640x480
~~Config" from the DuzzQuest2 entry in your windows start menu:
~~Graphics driver: DirectDraw 5
~~-graphics filter: 2x nearest-neighbour filter.
~~-Smooth scaled sprites [this is an optional setting not necessary]
One last try... have you tried simply unticking the "Run in a window instead of full-screen" at the top left of the config box, then pressing Save & Run?
Can run it in fullscreen fine in Vista by setting it to use Direct3D 9 (albeit only in 640x480).  Run the config.exe as an Administrator or it doesn't stick though.
By the way, I LOVED the animations! They were superb!
Yup, the animations were special.  But the whole game was good.  ;D
Ah, I remember the first DuzzQuest.... awesomely weird (even the strange little football mini-game! :o)
Cool, the plot reminded me of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure!  8) ;D
Took about half an hour to complete - enjoyed the humour and especially some of the cut scenes - reminded me of Zak McKraken (always a good thing! ;D)
Looks interesting, downloading now (in English... I hope?!) ;D
nice interview. You do actually sound smarter then you do on the forums  :=
I actually changed everything he said to make him sound smarter...  ;D
Great game, I'm really enjoying this one (even though I don't really remember the old SpaceQuest games very much, apart from having one where I repeatedly got killed on the first screen!  ::) - might well have been IV...).
With a voice pack it would be truly awesome... hope you manage to get that sorted!
