So a friend's sprites almost all turned to the default icon. This is the second time it's happened and we're at a loss as to what the reason is. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue?

It's important to remember that AGS doesn't know where the character's feet are it knows where the bottom of a sprite is.  If there's a large negative space around the sprite it's very possible that while the character's feet (or bottom) are on a walkable area the bottom of the sprite is not.  You can crop sprite edges if you right click on the sprite under Sprites or it may be easier and more efficient to reimport one without all the negative space.

Hey guys! I'm asking this question for two of my classmates so forgive me for not having code or photos on hand to show you.

Right now, she's having an issue where the character she imported won't move around on the walkable space in AGS. The character will still animate and she can interact with the world. She's tested it with one of her other characters and they'll move around on the space. I do know that the player character sprite has a large empty space registered around it.

Has anyone else had similar issues with their AGS?
