Oh, I didn't even knew there was another modify button.  8-0 I always use the "Modify" button, don't think I ever took notice of that icon.

Uhm, maybe there's something odd with how the text is written (or some special characters that are messing it up).  8-0

Does this happen in all posts you try to edit, or only on some? If only some, post the links to them. Maybe that'll help AGA to try and pin point the problem.

Spoiler

I always feel so stupid reading this thread... (laugh) Still have absolutely no idea.
And I suck at counting primes or remembering numbers anyway.  :-[

Actually I hate the 1-click, and it's not a strong word in this case.  (laugh)
I always end up right clicking everything anyway and be disappointed that it just results in the same action as the left click. I use the 2-click by choice, and cause it's convenient for MAGS, but I like the VerbCoin (not in it's original incarnation though, but I like to be able to get verb specific for each spot with the right click).

I guess we're all different in one way or another. The Sierra interface is annoying because you need to select the walk action, and then I always fast right past the verb I want and have to start the cycle again (or use the above menu... plus one needs to grad the inventory from a second GUI. Rather either open the Inventory GUI with one button/key or have it always visible.

Geez Slasher, leave a little for the rest of us!  (laugh)

Quick answer is yes. You have two choices, as far as I remember, if you want this for all your images, then go to the game settings and there's an option called something like "pixel perfect" turn it to false, and I belive that'll do it (I'm not 100% sure though).

If if you want this for only a few images and the others react normal to alpha, then edit your spirte, and give the alpha 99% transparency. Player won't notice it, but the engine will.  ;)

Given that the call to String.Substring() crashes, this indicates that somewhere in the participant list, there's a user name consisting of only one character, which is not alphanumeric (more or less: the condition includes some other characters as well, for some reason). As long as that participant is in the #awards channel, no one will be able to log on with the AGS client without crashing. There are safety checks built into the AGS client to disallow such names, so it would have to be someone who joined via IRC. Does anybody have the ability to check if that's the case?

I've been watching the video to catch up what I missed and I noticed that bicilotti was logged via IRC as f (look around the time mark of 2:12:00).

Don't know then, so don't think anything about them?  (laugh) Hate is a strong word, I don't hate them I just prefer 3rd person.  ;)

Thanks bunch for the stream/vid.  (nod)

Yes, even though the client can apparently handle 90, seems like the channel can't handle more then 45 :(

We have closed those that had 2 connections to make some extra space.

If you had a profile created and the program just crashes with the above error now, try creating a new profile. Worked for me.  :)

I do small editing all the time, and never had that problem, not to say you not having the problem, just saying I never had. Though I have seen that msg before, but can't say if it's been in relation to me hitting the wrong button (like quote instead of edit, or new instead of quote/edit). So my sugestion is, next time it happens take some screenshots and post the thread where it's happen so AGA can see if he can figure it out why it's happening.

Thank you! :D

Downloading and will test it right away. Will have a test run this year? Or we just hope all works fine?  ;)

No, "first person movement" does not solve this. I like playing my games just like I enjoy watching my favorite TV show. I doubt I would connect to a character I can't see in a tv show, just like I don't connect in a game. Keep in mind that I do like Myst, but more cause the scenery is so beautiful and the puzzles are great, and I played my fair share of first person adventures. But in general, I enjoy being that character that is walking in the screen, and don't want to be "me". Watching the character walking around and being able to control it gives me what I want in that department.

As for mouse/keyboard... these days I rather be able to use the mouse for everything, so I can relax far away from the screen, the keyboard and the likes. But I like options, so I say give the player options to choose what they prefer to use.  ;)

If it was up to me, I would classify those offenses as terrorism, since that's what they're doing, causing you "terror".

Every ear is different. And your earing changes with age, just mentioning it in case you don't know this. By giving an example, our amplifier occasionally goes wankers and starts emiting a loud high pitch. I can hear it, my son can hear it, my husband can't hear it. Which means if he's starts using it I often have to go and tell him it's "piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...." again.  :-\

Also, from my experience with using audio files, it's a bad idea to adjust the volume for individual files. Just normalize with audacity and don't adjust. When you add sliders to let the players adjust the volume for their individual preferences those clips will miss their setting and gain the new setting for the channel... I guess you could program each clip's volume to always have the same relationship, but think that's way much more work than just leveling your sounds in the first place.

I'm in Denmark, police is patrooling, but just making sure that establishments are close and that people aren't gathering more than 10. Otherwise we're not in home arrest. We're just advised to stay home as much possible, and if you do go out keep distance from others, sanitize and careful.

But the reason why my day isn't changed that much is cause I'm not an out person, I much rather stay at home and we sorta have to "force" us to go out. We don't have a lot of RL friends to visit either. And my family lives 3000km away, so no visiting them on a whim either...

Topic is giving me some crazy ideas... whether they'll end up into a game, that's another story.  ;)
