Well, you just hardcode the walk/movement. Either your view/loop has the entire movement included, or you can just use the "anywhere" option when you code the walk/move for the character.
So, no walkable areas are needs.  ;)

Yes, the solution is to use the other plugin called Direct 3D : https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=45348.0

The text is not part of the video.
The video only has image, no sound or text on it. Reason for it is, that you can change the music tracks that are playing in the settings if you like, and text I also wanted it to be changeable in case of needing it to be translated.
The text is being displayed using CW's great Typewriter module.  (nod)

We already have a thread for that: https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=57641.0
And the short answer is no.

And I have a feeling it might be related with the TLS handshake... or not. I'm just saying that cause I often see the message, and normally I don't notice it.

You can also create the sprites with just the changes that will be displayed in-front of your player character, assign it to a "dummy" character that is set to follow exactly and it's non solid. Make sure the baseline for this characters is 1 pixel in front of your characters, change the dummy empty sprite to the  sprite/view/loop that you want to display at the proper time. Return to empty sprite when you want to return the player character to normal view.

PS: (And Khris was ofcourse faster than me and with code.  (laugh) )

I'm actually more inclined to a circus for some odd reason...  (laugh)

This is very... "yippee-ki-yay"!  (laugh)

Well, done. The close up looks great.  (nod)

About the sign puzzle (attention puzzle solving ahead):
Spoiler

You were suppose to listen to the music, and figure out by the name of the music tracks to which directions they pointed to. Then rotate the sign to match.
I solved it another way, since even though I knew all 3 songs, I couldn't name a single one...  (laugh) So I just pointed the "good" names to match with the paths that had a music track.  ;)

EDIT:
Oh, i have a little bit of time, so might as well give some feedback.  :-D

Night Witches: Women of the clouds by Slasher
Spoiler

I enjoyed the plane size, but would have liked a bit more contrast on the graphics. The game in general felt dark. Also the mouse cursor being the same as the plane I was controlling was just confusing. Consider changing it to a crosshair.
I did not like the fact that I needed to click the mouse button up/down to make the plane move. Would have probably be more intuitive  to make the mouse movement correspond to the plane. As in move the mouse up/down to go up or down, left-rigth to move forward backwards. And then use the 2 mouse buttons to shoot and drop bombs, and with a full keyboard alternative (using the cursor keys to move the plane). As others have mentions the constant interruption of flight by character speaking was annoying. Consider changing it to BG speech. Also, why did we need the other cursor modes?

I liked the way the the clouds were part of the game and not just BG noise.  (nod)

Night Witch by Blondbraid and Crimson Wizard
Spoiler

Didn't took me long to get a feel for the game, and love the graphics as usual. The only minus I would point out, would be that there's little place to maneuver...more play space by making the planes smaller would have been nice.
Wish the clouds had been integrated into the game.

Jake's Very Last Journey
Spoiler

Graphics aren't the most perfect but they do the job for the most part. I enjoyed the story, even if the puzzles were a bit shoehorned. At least there was a good amount and variety of them. Though the pixel hunt could have been avoided by making all nuts clickable, but making the character to only interact with one (and refuse to take down more).
Of all the entries this one is the most complete, even if it had a few bugs, the story has a beginning, a end, a new beginning, a middle and an end...  (laugh) Also this entry is the only one where the clouds are key for the game. There's no doubt whatsoever what theme this game was build for. :)
For this reason and because it's a P&C adventure game, this is the one I ended up voting for.

Brothers & Wreckers by Flugeldufel & Creamy
Spoiler

Really lovely art and when I started playing I got this MI "vibe" right away. And the game felt so big and detailed! That I thought this would be a sure winner. I loved solving the sign post puzzle.  :-D Just the kind of puzzling that makes me smile when I figure the solution.
The only downside, was the clouds theme seemed to jammed into there and were not much more than a mentioning. This is the only reason why this entry did not get my vote.

The Rumpus Room / Re: *Guess the Movie Title*

Ah rats... all I could think of was "Christine", but knew that wasn't it...  :-[
If it's that one, then I watched it around same age as TheFrighter, maybe a year older, but not much more. I agree, not exactly age appropriate, but it sure made sure that I never ever had any interest in drugs after watching it.  (laugh)
#1274
Oh, okay, never noticed a problem with it. Maybe it's due to me avoiding long sentences...  (laugh)

Welcome back.  :)
#1276
Well, I'm sure that is coded into the template. By the wait icon I'm assuming you are using the Sierra template, and thus the top can't have text since that's where you have the top GUI.

Cool that it's finally released and now the official latest version!  (nod)
Good work everybody!  :-D

I did sanded mine down.
If you look closely you can see the x shaped material finish on the back plate, near the round part of the helmet (leftt side of the pic).

They look awesome! Did you 3D modeled them yourself?

The only thing I ever 3D printer was this Cylon Centurion half helmet, I did during a Solid Works course I attended.   3D printing wasn't in the program, but I decided to ask if I could and they let me.  :-D I'm missing a decent chrome paint to finish it's coloring.

Ignore if this is a completely stupid idea.  ;)

But you could try and start a dummy game self, with just the files needed for the intro and build it there and see if that lags too.
- If it doesn't then there's two options: 1) try and figure out why it does in your game or 2) use that dummy game to just run the intro and the run your game minus the exe. (disadvantage here if that you get a second exe).

- If it does, send it to CW so he can try and figure out what's going on.
