Looking forward to that puzzle! (nod)

Stop disproving my theories! :P

Can I put up a pledge to let me choose where I want my save files? I hate windows stupid default/dictator folder structure. Can never find them! >:(
I just want my files along with the game files... eventually something like ... \GameFolderName\SaveGames\ ... pretty please? (nod)
Maybe a setting/path that can be set up in winsetup?

I'm in the "wow, I can answer this question!" state... 8-0

Anyway, CW just answer this recently on another thread:

AGS does not have sprite preload mechanism. The sprites only load when they are put into use (e.g. displayed on screen). You may have 1000 sprites in a view, but only current frame will load up at a time. This is also a reason why smooth hi-res animations can cause slowdowns (some people invented "preloading" techniques to fight this issue).

I decided against that... I mean, what if someone different wanted to have a go? (roll)

Errmmm.... think you misunderstood me... I didn't meant not to give the option left/right, I was just making an observation on the way we normally mark these "spot the differences" on paper. ;)

GTA: Oscars edition? (laugh)

Guess it makes sense to mark the picture closer to your hand holding the pen/pencil... (nod)
CaptainD is just an odd one them. (laugh)

Guess maybe if you were taught to mark them on one side, then makes sense to mark them on that side forever, since you already used to it. ;)

Btw, my little one was able to almost solve the 1st puzzle by him self! (nod) He found all the 4 different shapes, but only until I asked what color the eye was he found the last one. (laugh) He found the mouse cursor hard to use, mostly cause he's used to using the windows pointer... Second screen was harder for him... found the "bridge" right away, but the lines I had to help him, and he never noticed the clouds... (roll)

I love how either bored/gobsmacked the audience looks anyway...

LOL, was thinking the exact same thing. (laugh)(laugh)

Oh? Has the competition already closed? ???
Thought it was open until the 15th. :-[

Not sure about stress, depression is very likely.
Nice to see you "active" in something btw! ;)

I do have lots of days when I fell like doing a ton of stuff, but normally by the time I get home from work that "energy" is all gone (only very rarely it stays and then I do a ton when I get home and only go to bed not cause am tired, but cause I need to).

I'm wondering, are you guys maybe left handed? ;)

Sounds good with the no sfx and + music. (nod)

Jo, thanks :)
It's just unproductive game wise... ;) Neither do I work on any of may games, nor do I play games. Just sitting watching whatever is on TV has a brain washing effect on one... (roll)
#5175
Thanks! tested, played and found all. :-D
Almost wish there was "fastest time" setting...(laugh)

Personally I would rather mark them on the right, but that's just me (maybe a setting the player can switch?). Not sure about the sound... for me it's "please turn off the speakers!" (roll) Also the mouse pointed seems unnecessarily big to me... but maybe small kids will appreciate the huge cursor.
I'll let my kid play test it tomorrow... if he behaves... (roll)

Been a while since I started this thread and last updated it... :-[
Rest assured this project is NOT dead, just moving at the rate of a snail... or slower... (laugh)

Anyway, for those that don't follow the BG Blitz competitions, I thought I would post the BGs made for this game in it's actual thread!

So here they (in order of creation):

A very special house:

The village our hero will be able to wonder into on his free time. ;)

Uhm... okay not as many as I remembered (roll), I'm missing one but since I never actually solved a problem with it it's not "finished"... (laugh)
Anyway, this (was suppose to be) "little" project has grown to be full size and I have decided that this is now what my aim is, art wise.

I'm still looking for help with the game. ;)
#5177
Can't do that, I normally just move my eyes from on pic to the other as fast as possible and look for "movement". ;)
Will download and test with my kid. :-D

EDIT: Oh rats! Gamejolt. :( I'll wait for a mirror then.

EDIT 2: Okay, played it with your screens... all found! :-D (Assuming there are only 5 per scene).
#5178
And I've now just spent an hour reading that instead of getting lunch ready.... (roll)(laugh)

EDIT: you evil evil one! Never post such a site again! Now I can't work on my model since I can't stop reading! >:(

(just a nitpick)
Spoiler

How the hell are there 4 life signs on board? I Count 5! 4 green and 1 red. :p Not to mention Ramirez, that isn't dead as far I can read. (I'm assuming that the airlock is part of the ship)
AI should either say: 4 life signs beside you, or 5 life signs... (roll)
