I'm on Win7 Home Premium, no problem running it here either. And I have no Steam what so ever.

I maybe be off on this one, but isn't hDrain a room hotspot? I'm not sure you can address room hotspots on the Global Script... try putting the code in the room script instead.

Hope it helps. :)

Edit: Either that or you need to refer to it by hotspot ID like with objects. But again, I may be way off base here (my experience isn't that much with AGS).

Uhm... if you're in Amsterdam, why are you flying to Munchen to get to Lisbon?  8-0
Were all the direct flights fully booked? Or you just didn't like the prices of those? I often fly via Amsterdam when I'm going to Lisbon... ???

Cool little game, congrats on the release and thanks for sharing it! :)

I did miss the ability of saving the game even though the auto-save is a nice feature, but once I finished the game, I was not offered a choice to try again from the last saved point. I would love to have checked the other ending options, but don't really want to have to play it again from the start.

Your 'Quit Game' button on the inventory GUI, is miss leading and/or asks for no confirmation, so one of the 1st things I did, was Quit the game thinking I was closing the inventory GUI... :/
Maybe you could add a Mouse over label to it, saying "Quit Game!", if nothing more. ;)

The simple Graphics work great with the game style, and I loved your Sun puzzle! :) Though I wondered why he didn't just put all the gems he had instead of me having to add 1 by 1.

Overrall, very enjoyable game with a nice flow to it.

I~m no expert, so if my suggestion doesn't work for you, then I'm sure a more experienced member will give you a better solution.

Go to your "inventory items", choose your item you want to interact with, click on the events buttons, then you need the last option called "Use inventory on this item". Click on it, to create an event there, and then script what you want to happen. ;)

Hope it helps.

The butler did it? Just kidding, but I just had to say it! ;)

I'm no specialist and maybe it's just me, but the 2nd looks off on her right eye. Seems a bit too close to the hear and too far away from the nose.

As for the 1st one, the only thing that maybe is a bit off, might be the shadow from the shirt on her left leg. Maybe it should reflect the 'hack" on the shirt?

I think your problem is that you are using the same background color in your sprites as well.
AGS takes (by default) the first pixel on the upper left to decide what color is the transparent one. Make sure that your transparent color/background is not used any place else on your GIF.

Hope this helps.

No problem miguel, at least we can still hope that the only game we lost was to the Champions. ;)
(we seem to be pretty good at that the last decade or so...)

I've been recommended GraphicGale (there's a free edition), loads very fast and has some very nice features. I suggest you give it a try and decide for your self. :)

In normal situations I would also, if it wasn't for my son (I'm sure he would complain if I turned off the sound LOL).

Been thinking about this, and if there are enough of these "hand ons" approach/alternative and it's very clear to the player that he can solve the problem by "hands on" or "brain on", you might just grab some players that don't normally like/play Adventure games, cause they don't like the puzzling solving.
You might just grab those that only want to puzzle solve, those who like puzzling with a bit of action and those that just want action and no puzzling (could be fun to get passed this by those type of players, if you know any). Of course, implementing such a thing, would mean a lot more work for you.

But it's nice food for thought. :)
I might just implement such alternative ways, into my BSG game, when I get started with it. (I will definitely keep this in mind, and maybe I end up with 3 to 4 different ways of solving a situation/puzzle, instead of 2 to 3). ;)

Yup, I realize it's the same 'bug'... ;)
It's just the 1st thing I do when running an AGS game... winsetup -> run in window mode -> off sounds...
No disrespect with sounds, it's just that I'm sharing the screen with my son while he watches cartoons on youtube, and I just need to turn the sound off before the game starts... (hidden rambling to follow. ;)
Spoiler
(otherwise the volume is just incredibly high, and I can't find the volume setting in windows to only turn that one down... must be another of those Win7 "features"; just hide and trow away, everything the user knows, so he feels he need to get a new course in using windows and stuff!)

Well just finished it. :)
Cool little game!
BTW, as long as you fiddling in it, you might consider changing the end screens to a mouse click instead of a timer. I had no time to read the text. :( Only read 1 to 2 lines in each of the 3-4 screens.
