sometimes imgur has serverproblems. Just wait a few hours or a day and it should work out.

It has never worked since I joined this forum 1st March this year.
I only noticed it cause you guys post a lot of pics on imgur...

Currently I use the "quote" option, then copy/paste the link(s) on my browser so I can see the picture(s)... but it's still annoying to do it that way. :)

I've got a little "weird" problem, that I can't seem to locate the solution.

All images that are posted from i.imgur.com do not show up on my browser... I've tried to check if they were blocked in any of my filters, but I can't seem to find anything that indicates them as being blocked.
Maybe someone has had the same problem and knows the solution?

I'm using Firefox 28.0 with the following add-ons: Bitdefender, Flashblock, NoScript Self-Destructin Cookies and Stop AutoPlay.

You got the first one. Though for the second one you gave a type of pants rather than shoe.

Heh... guess I'm not really up on my American slang expressions.  If that's what they are.

Are there shoes called Loafers? :P

Think you had "Flip Flops" (Sandals) in mind CaptainD? At least that was the first think that come to my mind when I read your answer...

Hope this fits into what you had in mind. :)

 Congrats to the winner! :D
And thanks for the votes, even though the only good thing in my sprite was "not a bunny"... : ;) (roll) (laugh)

Okay. it worked once I opened it again...
I like the art.

I don't like the interface though.
I'm guessing you'll be changing that, but it's rather annoying to keep going up to change the cursor mode, and have no visual aid to see in which mode the cursor is in.
No way to see where the hotspots are either, that can lead to missing clues/items.

Also I think you should draw the doors, or create a marking on the floor to indicate that one is going to change rooms. I walked to the right expecting the room to scroll and see what was on the other end of the bar, and all of a sudden I'm in the toilet...

Why are you using () in the text? I think it distracts the player (or at least me).
If it's meant as a "narrator" text, fine, but I still think it's not needed.

Clicking on the inventory does nothing. I know he doesn't have anything, but shouldn't the inventory window open? Otherwise, there's really no point in having such a button.

Resolution wise, the game is a bit too big for me, since I'm only using about half the screen (my son is using the other half to watch cartoons), so I can only see half the rooms... and there's no way to choose another resolution in the winsetup... (maybe that's AGS engine problem too?)

Hey.

I just downloaded it, but I can't get the in game mouse to activate, meaning I can't even start playing it...
I'm trying to play it in windowed mode, if that's relevant.

You see, when I play games I constantly save: I can "kill" a guy in DeuxEx, save, kill another one, save, and so on. Sometimes it's like 20 foes. Skyrim is the same. It always felt like cheating to me although I do it all the time.

Yes, but you have the choice to not do it like that. ;)
When I play that type of games, I also save constantly and I also have that felling of "cheating", I bent it a bit by constantly saving over my previous save, even if after a hard battle I ended having only 5% healht left.. I do, however have 1 or 2 previous saves, that if it proves to be impossible to continue with that, I can revert slightly backwards and try again... However, I probably would quit the game if I was forced to constantly restart the game...

I don't use hangouts either, since google+ apparently wants me to create a public account, and I don't want a public account...

Anyway, as a suggestions, you guys could try and set up a time(s) and day of the week that would suit most of those that wish to use this. This would guarantee that some ppl would always be there at that day and time... I find that chats (or whatever) tend to turn into nothing, when ppl are just hanging there for a while with noone to chat with...

Maybe you could just use a light shadow (instead of a all black one) under Ponch, instead of casting it behind?

Hi...

If you haven't checked densming's tutorials on youtube, I suggest you do so:
http://www.youtube.com/user/densming

He's got some great ones, and am sure he has what you're asking for (I haven't watched all yet though).
Check the ones about cutscenes. :)

Uhm... sorry about the background, don't know why Corel is having such a hard time making transparent colors...

Ah! That explains why...

...the leopard looks like from South America, and the soldiers look like from Africa... :D (hope that IS why).

If no one objects, then I'll post the next game picture (but I'll hide it, in case anyone does ;) )...
I spent countless hours playing this one with my brother. ;)

No Gribbler's right, I used image search... somehow it's a very useful tool and I like it. :p
To my defense, I did not find any of GarageGothic's pics on the search though, another showed up that I thought "that looks like it would fit"... But not my fault the artist did a lousy job on the second pic, since it got me curious as it had nothing to do with the first one (in my eyes anyway)... :D

Oh yeah, and I did say I cheated, right? :) And I took the time to hide it even... :p

Loved it! Great art, story and atmosphere! :)

Only have a little nit pick, if I may... you're using both mouse click and timer to skip to the next text, this might (as it happened to me) make the player click on the next text because the timer reached the end just as one finishes reading and thus missing a line of text...
Personally, I'm for letting the player decide when to move the text forward, that way one covers both the fast and the slow readers... But maybe that's just me. ;)

Will definitely keep this one under my radar!  Keep up the great work!
