Just work in 320x200, no one will know ;)

Just wanted to wish you all the luck with this one! Looks very promising and i love the name.
#1283
This looks pretty smart, i like the zoomed camera shots for dialogue. Might give it a go, what engine are you using?

I've got a few, MI and BASS are good enough ports. Have a look around and there are a few wannabe adventures to play.

I think Myst is on there but i haven't tried that.

...and that would be what I consider a pretty unfair comment!

You should turn 56modern into a 56k friendly gaming site.

I really hope that DBZ doesn't stand for what i think it does.

We played Power Rangers, Indiana Jones and Skullmonkeys (believe it or not!)

It looks like it would fit into a John Carpenter adventure game. Maybe add a single pixel outline to the key icons that changes tone when highlighted.

Heh, nice avatar but do you realize that Darth made that little dude?

It's not just some 90's throwback your de-facing!
#1291
Looking good! keep up the hard work.
#1292
I had a go at your game. It's freakin' madness!

Anyone remember Granny's Garden?

Certainly do, also from the old computers we had at school. I can still remember the theme tune now! ;D

Seconded! I have all these vague mental pictures of spending lots of time outside and flying on a carpet, but IIRC it was a text adventure so they must've had good writers.

Mental, it got Nathan Drake after 17 questions. A PS3 exclusive character who has starred in 2 games and has one of the most generic images and job title.

Oh, it got professor layton too!

#1295
Looks very good, i like the character models as well! I don't think it needs a lot more, maybe an email box for a mailing list?
#1296
I got discworld to work on vista, but it crashed a lot and the talkie-ness didn't work.

So i just whacked in the Playstation version and got out the old grey box (and grey PS1 mouse!) ;)

*edit*

The problem still happens with dosbox IIRC, the abandonware version that was online worked but the speech still didn't (even after copying the .vox files across from the CD).

A Windows 98 PC is a very good move.

I was wondering why the source images in that video were so good, i doubt it's possible to sort through all the shit that google images pushes out.

While clever, I doubt it would have many practical uses. Maybe for a advertising layout photoshopper to quickly prototype compositions, but not much else.

Agreed.

What I consider much cooler, is this new feature in Photoshop:

That's cool, super cool.

The icons don't look that bad but i'm guessing the big question mark is a hint system, which i hate. Mind you, iMonkey Island was the worst (shake, tap, or go over a bump in the bus to add another unwanted hint to the counter).

If you've played iMI you'll know what i mean.

Natural Born Killers

I couldn't stand that movie. Stopped watching it about half way through.

I actually fell asleep. This is the #1 on my list of crap movies and I won't watch any craps from Stone any more. Luckily I didn't watch it on big screen.

Are you kidding me? Natural Born Killers is a fantastic movie, the ending is brilliant! Pah! Who watches half a movie.
