Hey hey,

I figured it was the psu as i dont have any temp problems on my cpu or card (all my cables are tucked away nicely) so a new psu should be here soon.

My current one is 600w which should be fine but it doesn't have the 12v rails my card requires. At least that's what i figured, we shall see!

New psu arrived today and everything is running sweet. Crysis is a nice looking game!

Heh, another computer woe to mindboggle the ags hardware leets.

My computer is one of those horrible hp pre-builds (thumbs up for pc world cridit scams) but its not half bad had a 2.4 quad core, 3 gigs of ram and did have a basic 300watt psu.

Now i bought an 8800 gtx for it as the video card before was bottlenecking and also a new psu as my new card needs two pci-e power connectors.

So i got an EZ Cool 600W SLI Ready PSU - 12cm Fan, 2x PCI-E, 20+4pin, 1x SATA and now all i get is the system rebooting whenever the pci-e bus or gpu is stressed.

ideas?

Yeah man i was planning on doing that next time but my current soundcard is a bit wank.

Awesome Damien, i really like the vocal track in yours, sit's in the mix a lot easier than before.

If you guys were interested the drums are actually my roland electric kit, running through a mono cable so that's probabally where the dynamics were lost.

And recording the vocals with a cold wasn't the best idea.

But anyway, thanks for all the advice and your time; i will keep everything in mind when next recording.

Also i'm working on a song at the moment that goes:

Its pretty cool, cool like an ice bong. I will record that soon with some better mixing thanks to dkh's advice!

A few questions, the vocal track sounds a lot clearer but at the same time sounds a little strange in places (high in pitch?) i'm not sure but i do like it!

Also some of the vocals are missing in the last chorus and end part of the song

Drums sound much better!

But yeah, good job man might have to send you the others at some point

We play grunge, i guess. You'll either like it or hate it Anyway if anyone has any tips for next time i attempt to record my monkeys then it would be much apreciated!

Or if anyone thinks they can do a better job on the mastering i have all the master tracks in Audacity native format and a gmail account.

Some of the comments on that blog are pretty messed up:

I take it im missing something here, it's a picture of a plastic space box floating onto a big earthy space planet taken by another big plastic space thing? Right? Or is my brightness too low and im missing some giant welcome sign?

On another note, i pulled a pretty cool face in the mirror the other day. I kind of wish that i had a plastic space thingy in the mirror so i could have taken a picture of my face. I think that maybe if i had i could be the one with lots of comments saying how awesome i am and then maybe someone would give me a high power green laser pointer so that i could put it on the bottom of my shed, because that is the most logical place to install a high power green laser pointer.

The online free roam has the entire city to play with, exactly as it is in the single player. The whole city is open at the start of the game and its the same case in multiplayer, all cars, boats and helicopters are there as well as every other little detail from the sp. Just the mission spawns are gone.

I don't normally get worked up about a release date, but there is SO much work gone into gta it's like the 90's again!

Me and the bassist are going to spend a good few hours picking the track apart before we release it again, we've been writing a lot as there are some gigs booked so the full track has been a bit delayed.
