Hey thanks Nikolas!

Someone from a local town has had a listen to the recordings and apparently 'loves my voice' and wants to get together.

He's been playing guitar a good 7 years, which beats my couple of months. So i guess he could teach me a think or two.  ;)

I'll let you know how it goes.

Heh, that background seems to fit perfectly. All thought you will find it hard to get images that suit your characters houses etc.

I'm not sure what you should do really.

Heh, yeah i've seen that video before. Pretty impressive stuff!

Heh Nikolas, you gave feedback on one of my older recordings. But that's all good!

The drum track was prerecorded, it's a default one on the Boss Micro BR we were using. All the song writing stuff is down to me, i find it damn hard to get a verse riff that i'm happy will go with a chorus and visa versa.

And Evil you have some very good points, in actual fact all that is in the 'radiohead sounding' (a very nice complement there pal!) song is me playing guitar and singing, its one guitar all the way through.

I might have to mic up my drum kit and finish some of these songs. Any advice on building bridges and making two riffs that work together as verse and chorus?

Critics' Lounge / I put a new song together...

I didn't want to use the old thread i started as this song is a much different musical direction than the other songs.

Go to www.myspace.com/audiopuppy and take a listen to 'All things aside'.

Let me know what you think about the song writing and the mixing (im very new to both).

cheers  :)

Maybe something like this would work a bit better for the composition of the image.

That tails probably too fat but you get the idea.

General Discussion / Re: Smoking ban UK

Pubs now smell of mold and urine. I'm serious without the smell of smoke to cover it up the locals round here smell horrible.

Maybe that's just Wiltshire though?

Heh, the local where we gig has set up a massive gazebo that connects to the side of the bar from the outside.

Terran your photoshop appears to say action game factory on the front but adventure game factory on the side. Intentional?

Some really positive advice guys, i'll get to work on another drawing keeping your points in mind soon. I think i'll leave this one for now.

I really like what you did with the shading loominous, it gives the image a very professional feel. Expect an image from me within the next few days.

Howdy, enough of the crap songwriting, heres one of my recent sketches. I managed to acquire a waocom sapphire from a friend which has replaced my old serial waocom.

Bloody hell this thing feels nicer, so much more sensitivity.

Anyway here's my latest sketch, i'll update with a new post as i update the picture (dont count on daily updates, the new ladyfriend has her needs).

Heh thanks man, i've been drinking and smoking since 1am yesterday. Fucking brilliant birthday i say!

That really sucks about the musician Baron! If i could write anything other than guitar you know i'd help!

I'm current looking for a music at the moment aswell, it's really frustrating not being able to do it yourself.

best of luck mate!

I dont know if i'm going to be able to afford Brittens. I've been left completely self dependant, i have no money and one by one my phone, gas and power are being cut. If i come into any money anytime soon then i will definitely come but it doesn't look hopeful.
