opinions:

Have you tried dragging the tool bar onto the page so it's no longer linked to the other toolbars and THEN closing it?

might work.

what is there to comment on? did you do the graphic of that naked woman and the baby head on that body?
seems everone found the purchase of a mywebspace account strange when myspace accounts can be signed up for for free. if your going to purchase a web account why not have www.spacedesigns.com which is even more of a unique name and will give you way more than myspace can offer you.

That spacedesigns domain is parked, so i would have to pay out a fair deal of money for it.

the /myspacedesigns i got for free, so no money was involved. I wouldn't pay for a myspace url.

I asked for peoples opinions on the page, not on what i should have done instead.

Lets try another subject, do you think i stand a chance of making any business? I was put up to making the page by Lee from Quarterblind who seems to think i'm good at the whole design thing and thinks i could make some cash if i worked at it.

It's far easier to promote a myspace page across to a lot of people than it is a standard domain. Think about the amount of people who see each one of your comments, bulletins or picture comments on myspace. You add someone, you then go on their friends list, people see their friends list, see your page etc etc

And yes i did all the graphics Da_Elf, the main graphic is a photo mash (so not a lot of skill involved there) but there are more examples of my work under 'view pictures'.

Accounts with unique names, mass numbers of friends. Myspace is an extremely popular community and for a company of a band being able to send out one bulletin and thousands of people seeing it can be worth a great deal for their career.

i duno, this wasn't what i started the thread to discuss.

Im sure your right but people are selling accounts on ebay so it seems it can be done.

thanks Dkh, simple 4/4 is what I'm used to and apart from 16 beat there's not a lot else i do. I've been playing 4 years or so but i still haven't had my first drumming lesson, so my technique and theory is pretty messy.

Also, it was recorded using the video function on my digital camera and then i used audacity to record wave out from the video, hence the 'hardware unplugged' noise.

Just some drumming, improvising some double kick beats, listen to the fill about half way through.

Fair enough its a myspace url, but all the /whatever on myspace are unique to each persons profiles, you think of the amount of people who use myspace and the amount of designs that are on there i think i'm quite lucky to get this url.

Check it out, tell me what you think. I'm thinking the url could be worth a fair bit of cash to someone with the right pocket, but i'm going to be using it for my designs at the moment.

I'm pants at this coding business and need a little help, i don't really understand if statements in ags but i need to have a piece of code where it sets a certain character view when a certain cursermode is selected.

something like this.. right?

And put it in the global script?

I quite like Iron Maiden, but I haven't really listened to a lot of their stuff. I am meaning too though. Still, I'll probably just take a crash course by enjoying them on the Sunday of Download this year

[05/03/07 : My my, doesn't this game making process take a long time, 'ey I've started work in HTMI again, don't worry I'm not redoing backgrounds or rewriting story, just plodding along with the same stuff i've been working on all this time.I'm a VERY slow programmer, scripting puzzles takes me hours so bare with me. I'm getting there, slowly but surely.Like i've said a hell of a lot of art is done its just putting it all together now, i've coded another big puzzle today so i'm happy.We WILL get there, in the end!cheers,]
