Yeah, i ride a motorbike so i should have a bit of an advantage. I havn't actually had any real lessons yet, just driving around in my mates car. It's great fun!

We could have ordered an extra ticket for you Andy :(

Also mate, i had my second driving lesson with packer today. Three point turns and no stalling!

Heh yeah, 'my name is milky joe, i drive you locoooo'.

I'd have to say nangeddon is one of my favorite episodes along with killeroo from series one.

In my opinion the best comedy to come out of bbc3, The Mighty Boosh.

Me and Amy are going to see them live in cardiff in a months time and really can't wait. Are there any other boosh fans in the forum? I know Cam watches it in Australia so i guess it's broadcasted in other places than the UK.

If you ever have the chance to catch an episode then go for it, you won't be dissapointed.

here's my cpanal bit

Mods, have you checked your spam folder? I havn't had any problems with my domain. It's online at www.hate-kills.com (forgive the pathetic site design, it needs to be redone (and recoded)).

Gigabeat was very kind and helpfull to me once i got hold of him, he changed my password sevral times before we realised i was logging into the wrong bit.

If all else fails then withdraw your paypal payment and buy a domain again, what browser did you order in?

Oh and Ashen, i think irc is the best way of contacting him.

Mods, Ashen.

They will send you an email (from paypal@domains-at-1... i think) which will have username and password in it, (it turned up in my spam box on gmail) you then enter that into the cpanal link i gave in my first post.

their TOS is here http://www.domains-at-1pound.co.uk/tos.txt

and you can contact them on their irc channel at quakenet (which is what i did, they didn't reply to my email).

hope that's helpful. And also i don't have a clue how much hosting you get, i was surprised i got any for my pound.
#1849
Not sure, i wouldn't expect so seeing as payment is via paypal. Could there be any other restrictions to non-UK residents? Oh and the domain seems to be pretty great so far, i've never used ftp before but it was really strait forward to setup and use.

That was the idea when i first started concepts. To be completely honest i don't plan on changing the colours at all, i like them how they are.

thanks for the all the comments guys.

General Discussion / domains for one pound.

No really, 1GBP. Sign up at the site, pay via paypal and you'll be given a username and pass via email and then you get the domain. No strings attached.

www.domains-at-1pound.co.uk

I ordered two domains and was a bit stumped on logging in. The login on their site wouldn't work and i didnt know why. But i finally got through to someone after two days of trying and it turns out this is the url to login:

www.domains-at-1pound.co.uk/cpanel

seriously, there's no catch. They also offer hosting with the domain for something like 6GBP.

Hope it comes in useful.

*edit*

HAHA! Turns out for your pound you also get hosting and ftp!

Hey Monkey, you're ace. Thankyou VERY much. I've disabled both horizontal scrolling and vertical now. I'm currently fiddling about with the height and width of things so my profile looks right in both IE and firefox. Only problem now is that the yahoo advery banner covers my banner, bugger!

Seriously though, you've helped me understand css a lot more. Hopefully in time i will be able to do this stuff myself!

Hey again Monkey.

So the overlay does work quite nicely but because if the width of the thing it doesnt cover up all the myspace crap underneath. How would i go by making a black whiteness behind the overlay to cover up the myspace stuff?

thanks again.

It's a running animation. From a sequence in the game where he's being chased by a boulder!
#1859
Hey thanks for the comments guys!

How about another screenshot for the dedicated fans :)

Hey Monkey.

Thanks for that! The reason the html is so messy is all down to dreamweaver, like i said i'm pathetic at writing anything in notepad so that's the best way for me as im mainly interested in the graphic side of things.

As for myspace, to submit what you do is make a bookmark which has the url 'javascript:document.forms[1].submit()' (experiment with forms[1] [2] or [3] untill it works. You can then submit your html without the need of the button. just incase anyone if reading this thread who has the same problem.

Anyway, i really apreciate the help pal i'll try out the code later and see how it goes.
