i did research, plenty enough of the stuff. But i just thought the picture would look better WITH tree's. Think about the picture if it had no background, it would look shit...

to be blunt.

and pixelcat, yeh i hate the stump, i was going to rub i out when i drew the picture. But i couldnt find my rubber :)
#2662
lol, does yours have tree's?

Easter Island has no pine trees.

Yeh i know, but what kind of a game would it be if it really was that true to form. There''s absolutly nothing of interest on easter island apart from some statue's and i want to make it a bit more interesting. Hell i might not even have ti set on easter island, it could be somewhere else with strange simularities to easter island.

bah

ill kill the gradient later

hot of the press this one:

Its for my current project situated around a digsite on easter Island.

Im not to sure about the smudge on the far statue and it still needs a few extra bits and bobs, clouds ect. but I'm pretty damn happy with it :)

edits/paintoveres welcome

cheers

hehe, thats great pete.

I think AGS team challange would really be worth considering again, in my experience the secret to sucess is planning. And if you got a solid plan down, which was then sent to the rest of the team a team challenge could be more than possible.

with flash, where you would normally put a motiontween you can go to tween properties and select an imagetween (i think thats what its called).

You then set hints as to where the lines will merge into each other...

sorry if its a little vauge, but its been a long time since i used flash for animating.

try www.flashkit.com :)

is it really necessary though. i mean when did you hear "f*ck" in any of the major commercial games? GO for it if you ant but to me it is a sign of immaturity having to swear to prove a fucking point.

made me chuckle :)

lovely, i really like them :)

the  bed seems a little square and the door looks out of place, make it more wacky.

That reminds me an awful lot of a scene in The devils triangle
[/i]

yeh i know what you mean, great game really long with a nice story.

Mat i think in some area's the picture could benifit from widerlines, rather than allways keeping one pixel big. Also try varying the darkness of the lines, it would add more depth to the picture.

my two cents ;)

rip the sprites and see for yourself ;)
#2679
it looks like the really realistic style manga. Bloody beautiful. infact id say it looks more like marvel comics style, spiderman ect.
