i know what you mean, but im sure its just the technique that makes it look better, to be honest i thought your original was pretty impressive. Maybe darth will let you use the edit in your game  ;)

love the edit loominous, its a nice structured background that need that added detail that loominous put in. In the edit it also added a eary sense to the picture, it looks really cold and creepy.

I LIKE IT! sounds great, then you would'nt nessercerialy have to draw new characters, just keep the same main character.

It could be a place for all these newbies who have all these 1000 room games planned and need a team, to show their stuff.

Err I'm doing my 'finals' at the moment, and i've been on study leave for two weeks now and i've done 3 exams so far. Ive got another month of this shit.

To lechuck, this game looks great. Your art's brilliant but i think when you come back to it you should stop doing game posters and work on the f**king gameÃ,  :P

seriously though, make sure you plan the game properly before jumping into things. Then you know adzactly how long the game is going to be and how long it will take.

How scabby would it be for me to enter my unfinished mags entry, which IS open source?

going by what your saying Totoro that would be an easy win. But that would be pretty harsh on the other entrants, which have obviously worked harder than i have, as i havnt finished.

what should i do? if i would mean "saving mags" from having no entrants, then fine. But i dont want to steal the crown from the great entries so far.

janner, you like? I really wouldnt expect anyone to be interested seeing as it was unfinished. And i dont know how the rules go as far as releasing a unfinished game for a mags entry.
