bah im getting treated like a n00b. one sound card is weird, i cant find it. I think its prolly intergrated in the motherboard or somthing. I dunno. So i just bodged the other one in.

meiz, apperently te problem is a power shortage, so maybe this is caused by having two sound cards, well i doubt its helping.

boyd, its ont the sound recorder because ive trie testing it in counterstrike. Thats the main reason i want the mic to work, for cs, well that and game sound effects ... BOYD :p

i only jus got a new sound card a while back, cus the other one was fucked.

i just plugged the new one in and installed it, should i have taken out the old one or somthing?

ill have a look to see if i have a midi cable thingy ma jig

*edit* all i got plugged into the back of the pc is madem, keyboard, mouse and speakers.

i tried recording without the speakers in but it didnt effect it.

shoot with snipers? You do know this is ADVENTURE game studio, rite?

And making a platformer is a hard task, with lots of scripting involved. Why not get up of your ass and make the grapics yourself? Or use RON templates, you cant expect everyone to do everything for you ya know.

i cant see the three pics you've posted here, but the ones on the site work. I have a question... why ont just compile this as a half-life mod? rather that making it with ags?

It could all be done, items , puzzles ect with simple triggers. And as for the monsters it would be a lot eaisier to do in worldcraft.

Plus you wouldnt get put donw for ripping halflife graphics/textures.

legge i dont think i explained myself correctly, i was expecting a mod to move your thread, so you wudnt have to make another.

Ive been having a lot of problems with this pc and microphones, I've now tried two different mic's and neither work. So i come to you, in a state of despair. Can you guys help me?

m0ds had a go at helping over msn, but with no avail, so far the thing's ive tried are:

-messing around with the volume control function in win98

-using windows sound recorder and putting it on record and then changing what port the mic is plugged into at the back (to see if it picks up the mic).

umm

-the mic has no self volume control so it cant be that

and the mic is basicly brand new.

can i get some help? Im stumped on what to do it seems like nuttin's working.
