dont you think its kinda tight? copying someones own work "editing" it to make it "look better". And then asking people how much better it looks and how can it be improved even more?

i thought darths avatar was brilliant as it was, and it was his own unique style. This sprite seems too much like a modified version of darths style. I do like it, but i think you should try and make it even more unique. Change the posture,re-draw the face. Because it really does look like a modded darth sprite.

And its lacking a lot of contrast. I have tried a lot of thing to fix this background, but all with no avail. Im not sure what it needs.

There are a few thing which are not included into this picture which are the townsfolk/knights and i will probally have a matket stall selling tomoatoes next to the "ye' odle sale" magic shop.

what do you as the intended audience, think it needs? I think ive looked at it too much now, so i cannot really think very well...

I was trying to avoid critising the great but theres somthing i noticed. With both animations on the back foot it seems as though he is just sliding his foot across the floor and not atachually picking it up.

i think that the knee should bend a little and that the foot should mve up about one or two pixles.

but that may be due to staring at it for too long

i must say i love this animation, much better than anything ive done. I think the arm should have a motion blur when he brings the lighter out.

lithium (nirvana fan?) why not try drawing your own sprites, and when you resize on psp change the dropdown menu to "pixel resize" not "smartsize".
