i kinda took what mage said into consideration ... and ive now finished a 320 background of a ocean in about 20 mins    the thing is tho it atachally looks good, and i have a really cool storyline idea ... and ... and.

well ive probally quit about 5 projects so far and i really should stop it, but i keep playing other ppl's games and realising how lame my art looks:P ah well , i'll put it down as practice.

yeh, you could make each 'moving bit' as a character, it would decrease it incredabally.  But if i wre you i wouldnt worry about changing that scene. just keep it in mind.
