Everything's great for me Geoff. I love the interface the only problem i ever had with the 'right click to change curser' style was that you kept having to change back to walk again, and this is now not a problem atall.

One comment tho, i think the 'use inventory on' curser may need somthing else apart from the command line just to make it stand out from the rest. Maybe the wand could have some kind of a sparkle to it, or maybe have the letters inv next to it.

or is it just me being me, hmmm

this guys new, probally totally new to drawing on a computer, this is his third post, you dont need to be soo harsh as to just say its crap, remember 'constructive critisism'.

i think you (alecw) need to bear in mind what style you're going for, i thought that this was meant to be a sketchy kinda distorted style, much suiting a paranormal murder type game.

i dont know why taryuu wa soo harsh, i like the colours and the shading on the walls, its just that this pic is in very eairly development.

i like the perspective, the colours, and the blood it all adds to a very dark and sinister scene, i think there should be more details in the room tho, thing like shelves, a desk maybe and i think you should add a window with a light source coming from it.

wow, new posts   lmao i thought this topic was dead, i kinda gave up on the game due to lack of interst in the storyline

well that leaves me with a big dilema (sp?) i now have two games in production, this one which is in 640/480 resalotion and another one which is set in medievil times which is 320/240 resalotion.

hmm, looks like im in a bit of a pickle. What should i do guys? 1 ive done the main character walking animations, 3 bg's and two other animations. And the other ive done main character walking animations and 1 bg.

i could work on both ... or leave one aside for a while, i dunno

i jus wondering wether its worth buying one of those drawing pad (dunno what they're called).

Im reasonably skilled at drawing with a mouse, but im thinking it might be worth getting a drawing pad jus to speed up my game making.

anyway, how much are they abouts and how od they handle?

can i just say that even though your character obviously has a very strong manly feel about him i think he should still slightly more slacked arms, just sayin

i once made a big assed hl mod based on the 'they hunger' series, i was really chuffed. Newayz, the bg's look gd but i would say that the character should be made of really dark shades, would give it a film noir feel.

hello everybody,

i was just wondering how many games have used full hand drawn backgrounds, coloured and drawn on paper and then scanned into a computer?

is it worth doing for a 320 resoloution game, as it would save me a lot of time drawing on computer.

*edit just for minimi* well kinda newayz, you se the police department think it was an act of terrorism and are trying to find the ring leader, the more you ask about the 'incident' the more suspicion you raise. If this gets too high then its in the slammer for you boy, which you then have to escape from, and get a change of clothes.

does anybody think this is a too strong story to play as it is a large part of the game, i have a backup story whick could also work but im not too sure abouts it.

oh and esseb, im guna make a few changes to the fjord to make it look more real i'll post the update l8r, for now im guna try nd get sum beauty sleep seing as its 23:46.
