I watch Bones, but it has started grating on me as almost borderline sitcom. That irritating psychiatrist's girlfriend, and Bones' completely implausible lack of social skills, in an attempt to be funny, goes overboard too often.

^ This.

Bones used to have tension.

That's some great advice Theo, your commitment to the community is inspiring.

I love how blunt you are!

Great to see Anna's Room in action! (well, kinda) I was trying to work out what the bottom button did for a while before reading 'telekinesis' on the text there. I would suggest having two hands with an object floating between them, it would mean making the button wider but i think that would be nice.

Kinda like this, but from the magicians POV:

Hah! Ben that's classic! Nice avatar btw.

I run AGS games through Crossover, it's cheap and does the trick for most Windows stuff. It can run the AGS editor but struggles with a lot of games. In my experience it runs short games well, Ben and Calin's stuff works but it has trouble with limited palettes and plugins, also tends to lag.

General Discussion / Re: Rotoscope

To create a nice rotoscope ideally you want a video that is running at 25fps, then trace every frame.

It's a very time consuming method but can yield some beautiful results.

Good luck drawing 25 images for every second, bit more work than low-res animation! I suggest using onion skinning to ensure your lines are consistent.

MI2:SE isn't too bad in HD. The PSN only games are more 'indie' feeling than commercial games, in the way that they are trying something different. The people that buy them are more open minded i guess, so there may be a market.

Lovely entry Oraxon, the colours feel perfect with the loose outlines.

Not only should you continue this project but you should keep with your current style! The backgrounds look lovely, they're clear and the composition feels right. Good luck!

Don't sell yourself short, it's gametrailers, one of the highest traffic video driven gaming websites. Your game has 25.000 views and plenty of positive comments. Congratulations!

Lovely looking game! I really like the fog, that and the protagonist remind me of Silent Hill  :)

Best of luck, hope you stick with it!
