The first episode of Urban Joe, a platform action game in development by GASPOP software has been released and is available for download at:
http://www.gaspop.com/urbanjoe.htm

Several members of the AGS community has helped in the development. There was also an Urban Joe tournament at this year's mittens. Last time I posted about the game was when the demo was released, but it didn't gain any interest. But I figured I might as well try again. As Sylpher said "few people care about demos.. they want the whole thing". Here's hoping ;).

The last seasons of Futurama were shit as well, it's probably contagious.

North By Northwest is also in color.

Lots of b&w I havn't seen but would like to. Oh well, here are some b&w I really liked:

Night of the living dead (allthough I'd rather classify it as a just a classic rather than a classic b&w)
Strangers on a train
Psycho
Night of the hunter
The Killers

It's out already? Gotta get it, I hope it's better than Wizard and Ass.

I was going to mention Halloween since it's one of my favourites, but wasn't really sure about the supernatural bit.

For me, Horror films do not need any supernatural elements. But to fit your picture of it, here are some I strongly recommend:

John Carpenter's The Thing.
Night of the living dead and Dawn of the Dead by George Romero.
Already mentioned, allthough I probably wouldn't classify it as an horror movie even though it is really gritty,   Angel Heart.

And of course, the Shining :p

I really liked the Ninth Gate as well, especially the images, allthough most people don't.

Max Payne 1 had all this as well, only the story didn't feel like a hollywood action sequel. It bothered me how they pretty much had changed Vladimir's and Mona's personalities completley.

It's still more fun in terms of gameplay than Max Payne 1 though, but it falls storywise. IMO.

While money isn't really a problem, timing is. I probably won't be able to go to this years mittens as we pretty much have no summer holiday in school this year.

Damn you! I couldn't two whole months for Kill Bill to open in Sweden so I downloaded it.

::weeps in shame::

It was still pretty good quality though and the movie totally rocked. Not calling it a best movie ever or anything, but it was very well done and very entertaining. Gonna see it when it opens in the theatres as well :)
