Starshot: Space Circus Fever?

It features an alien-kind-of-dude (a member of the said space circus), is in 3D and features beach world as the very first level? It was released in 1998 for both PC and N64.

Alright, I remembered yet another 3D game with aliens, although this one was a PSX release only (Terracon).

Guess we'll really need some more info. ;)
#145
The only game I remember with a cartoony alien (and in 3D) is Attack of the Saucerman, but I'm not sure if it's the one.

If it's not the one, can you give some more details? ;)

Swimming, definitely swimming! :D Man, another excellent background right here!
And sorry you have to deal with such horrible comments. :( Hang in there, bro!

Yay, congratulations! :D Another released game to the list!

Wow, this is excellent, thanks a whole bunch for trying the demo! I love seeing others giving our game a go. :D Can we share your video on our social media?

Also many thanks AnasAbdin, Cassiebsg and Blondbraid! :)

It's like a children's storybook come to life! ;-D

That's one of our goals, heh! :D

Thanks, everyone. :D So far it looks rather good, let's hope it stays that way 'till the release day. ;)

Alright, another 56k unfriendly post, so brace yourselves.

Well, this is primary a game for kids with educational values.

Zniw Adventure-Pulp Fiction crossover confirmed

I swear, this day's been full of excellent news since early morning. Congratulations on the release! :D

Hoo boy, I actually did a whole lot of small demos and code snippets, mostly to know the engine better (I've been lurking around the forum since December 2009, after finishing such classics as Pleurghburg or The Shviah and deciding to give AGS a go by myself. 2009's Christmas was mostly me doing stuff in AGS and reading the beginner's questions section like there's no tomorrow.)

One project actually somehow survived, and was even put on YT. I did everything by myself (code, backgrounds, animations, VO), minus the music/SE, in around 2 months time.
You can actually go as far as saying it directly evolved into Zniw Adventure (me and Twarda started working on ZA not even a full year later), as several code snippets and entire scripts were lifted from that. Unfortunately, it's in Polish only, I never did a proper translation.

Gotta love that Rayman Origins music, completely amateurish voice overs and barely any gameplay.

Yes, and huh... I just checked, it only skips certain Theora videos, not all of them (while everything works fine in D3D). I'll try to tinker around a bit with Theora converter settings to see which thing causes this.
#154
Ah, I see, thanks! Is there any chance for a quick workaround for this? (unfortunately, ZA is quite dependent on OGV cutscenes, which currently limits the renderer to D3D/software only)
#155
For some reason AVI/OGV files fail to play while the game is set to OpenGl renderer - the screen just goes dark for a split second, and the game resumes normally. The said files are played correctly when switching back to Direct3D/software renderer.

Is this a known issue, or rather a problem with codec/compression settings? Using AGS 3.4.1.14.

Thanks everyone! :D

Heh, you know how it is. :D

Anyway, about the announcement I mentioned before... Zniw Adventure now has its own proper Steam page, along with an improved trailer and a couple of fresh screenshots! No final release date just yet, but man, everyday we're coming closer and closer to the finish line. So yeah, you can wishlist the adventures of our dinosaur heroine if you'd like. :)

Would never have guessed it from the first image but pretty sure that robot is from The Journeyman Project.

Yes sir! That's Journeyman Project 1, alright. :D It was the very first PC game I've ever played. Man, it was seriously impressive back then.
Over to you, Chrille. :)

Vaguely reminds me of Amerzone.

Close, it's also a first person point and click adventure. :)

The Gene Machine. :) Remember playing it on my good ol' PC, though I was a bit too young to fully understand everything, heh. :D
