Absolutely adore these animations and the general art style and setting - best of luck with the production!

We're slowly getting the ball going, after some real life seatbacks, with that pandemic and whatnot. It's been a rather intense time lately...

Nevertheless, our website is finally up and running! :-D I was planning to set it up a long time ago, but always had something more urgent to take care of.

And, as always, some more animated goodies straight from the game:

Sorry I couldn't make it this year, although I saw the saved stream on Twitch - huge thanks to all the organisers for their hard work and congratulations to all the winners and their grand games!

Voted! Definitely an excellent year for the AGS engine and community. Had lots of fun playing all these lovely games!

Thanks so much guys!

Also yesterday we reached a very important milestone - one of the main reasons why the game was stuck on 97% for so long...

Yep, all of the cartoon cinematics are done animation-wise. Music and sound will be a quick walk in the park, compared to the amount of work Twarda had to suffer to get these done.

If these weren't so out-of-context scenes, we could mash them together into a 5+ minutes dinosaur cartoon. (laugh)

Man, it looks better and better with each update. Ace stuff man, keep up the grand work! :-D

One thing I found incredibly useful is the code reidentation in Notepad++ - AGScript files can be easily beautified and reidented as C code via the TextFX plugin!

Animal Crossing? (judging from the resolution it's either the N64/GCN original or Wild World on DS)

Speaking of, really looking forward to the Switch one, even though I barely have any time to play. I sank a lot of hours playing (and enjoying) New Leaf during my Uni days.

Looks kinda Jade Empire-ish to me...

Haha, thanks so much everyone!

A quick update for today - still working hard on the bugfixes and missing animations, the pesky real life and day job still getting in the way. :/ But we're trying our best to wrap everything up and slowly drift towards the release...
And speaking of development - the project actually managed to break in some places after updating to version 3.5.0. ;) Huge props to the CW and the rest of the dev gang for quickly identifying and fixing the issues!

(this one has actually incomplete, otherwise it would be a very huge spoiler...)

Since we're slowly getting to the goal, it wouldn't hurt to show some more scenes from the intro... right?

Head to our imgur dev story post for even more animated goodies!

Lemmings Revolution, but you got the franchise right - your turn. :)

Haha, not really, I am much into retro games and consoles/computers, but I don't really feel the need to buy a CD-i, especially considering their failure rate and price nowadays. :D

Anyway, here's mine, played this one recently after I found the old CD in a drawer by accident...

Escape from CyberCity.
I immediately recognised these robo policeman dudes, shooting lasers/flashlights(?) from their eyes from a YT review of CD-I I watched not that long ago. EfCC was one of the games featured in the video. :D

Boom, still not dead! Thanks so much for the kind words, everyone!
It's time for a new update, isn't it? 56K users beware, as this update is definitely not slower-net friendly!

And here's our good ol' pal encyclopedia, with its finalised design!

So sorry to hear this, Anas. Please hang in there and don't give up on the game - I'm sure many, many people (including myself) would love to play the full version of Tardigrades.

Is it an Ultima game?

Yes, and I guess it can count as an answer, since I believe it's way too much of an obscure game to guess and I don't want to prolong it any longer. :D It's Ultima: Escape from Mt. Drash, released in 1983.
Your turn Mandle!

No and no. ;)
Another hint - the franchise it belongs to is a classic RPG. The game in question was released for Commodore VIC-20 only. Oh, and it has something to do with escaping and mountains in its title.

A little bump to remind you it's still going. ;)

Have another screenshot, and a little hint: it's a bit obscure game from the franchise that was mentioned here recently.
