I got all the plot outline (so far as me got with it) and character notes RIGHT HERE. Gimme a bit and I shall type them up.

*edit*
Okay, there is *lots* of this, this is the cast list and character motivation stuff, the first bits we worked out. As you can see, there are a lot of characters that iddn't make it into the final abortion. We were sort of overreaching our capabilities, I think. :P BUt man, it would have been awesome.

CAST

Wembly (Adam) - Instpector Petes bumbling assistant

Senor Roberto (Creed)- Short tempered drug baron, and brother of Bob form the Ben Jordan Movie. Irational and shouty. Has called all the criminals together to choose one to take over his brtohers place in his organisation.

Beverage (Nacho)- Robertos trusted manservant, secretly hates Roberto. He suspects that Sharon Becklespinax killed his brother. Had gsordid gay affair with Percival, has never admitted it.

Percival Quentin Jones - Posh guy and shifty con man. Had gy affair with Beverage, acts nervously around him. THinks he stands to inherit from Prof Goldberg

The Janitor (Mills) - Undercover agent and hotman, is bringing Bobs body back from France. Has Evidence on the butler. Fude and sarcastic, never tips. Was present at Bobs death in france - could he have plans for Roberto too?

Sharon Becklespinax (Becky) - Professor of Deathology, lawyer tot he mob, actress, and expert in poisons. Seems to hate the Janitor, having secret affair with doctor Goldberg, Baron owes her money.

Proffesor Goldberg (miez) - Preffesor and assasin, uses elabortie devices and formulae to kill. Recently changed will from leaving fortune to percival to Sharon Becklespinax from percival Jones. HAtes ROberto for having slept witht he Countess.

Butler (jeremy) - RObertos butler. He butles. A curiously silent figure, initially seems squesky clean, but the janitor has photos of him in a comprimising position.

THe Scandinavian Chef (gunnar) - Everyone once thinks he killed a man with a deserrt spoon, but it was never proven. A shady, short tempered character. Hates people criticising his food.

Doctor Starspan (disco) - Magician, kills people with rubber balloons, by either throttling them or stabbing them with balloon swords. BOrn again christian, flipped out when he realised his party tricks are THE WORK OF THE DEVIL and uses his madness as an excuse to kill. Murdered Detective petes mother 12 years ago.

Foreign TOm (marco)- A uniquley foreign man, from a country unheard of by everyone. Uses his baffling foreign customs to put others off their guard. Managed to upset the chef.

Carlo "speedy" Gonzales (eric) - Deputy drug dealer, one of Robertos most trusted allies, but is secretly planning to bump him off. Very critical of others.

ANd that was a lot of typing. I'll type up some of the plot outline and stuff soon.

Awesomeness. I only wish we'd got more of all the characters.
And that I'd got to pretend to be Roberto more. I rather enjoyed storming around and slapping people.

I am finally home and still seem to be alive.

Dudes, that was frickin' awesome. I honsetly don't think I've ever had a better two weeks. Big love to Gundy for the hosting, CJ and Lackey for the driving on the road trip, and everyone for being their awesome selves and contributing to the gestalt.

I'll post a proper detailed declaration of the joy of it all later, for now, have a Mittens Meat Machines comic.

I leave for GLORY in fifteen minutes. See you Roadtrippers in a day or so, and everyone else in Miami, should we survive.

Meat Machines are back, people. One a day for as long as I can take it, and we're kicking off with an ANIMAL GENITAL EXTRAVOGANZA. And who could want for anything more?

I think I'd rather enjoy contrabuting some bits of dialouge and description, if that's cool.

Great to hear, Marco! Congrats!

Yay, awesome that these are finally geting out. I can call my self a Proper Writer now. ;)

Love the head holding animation and Rosas defeated head slump.

I wish I'd thought on to ask you to credit me as Davy Malay, though, that's what most of my internet stuff is by these days. My fault for not asking, though! :)

Why did Hancock sign so big? Day of the Tentacle taught me that it was because he'd been told that "chicks dig a guy with a big... signature", but I am not totally convinced by that...

So it was the Battle of Battle? How delightful!

This may be fun. Or it may not be! We shall see.

This is what I propose. Each person posting in the thread posts all they can off handly remember about a historical event suggested by the previous poster, and then names the next historical event for the next poster to post about.
Only post things you can remember off the top of your head - no fair googling. We are sharing pre-existing knowledge and building us a gestalt of our shared head-facts, here, and learning through osmosis.
Course, if anyone gets a thing wrong, feel free to post about that. We don't want our gestalt soiled by no dirty old misinformation.

I set the game away with The Great Fire Of London.

* Happened some time in 1666.
* 17th century Bridget Jones equivelant Samuel Pepys buried some parmezan cheese in his back garden to save it from firey doom.
* It started at Pie Lane and ended at Pudding Corner.
* Though London burned pretty much down to nothing, less than a dozen people died. Yay!
* Was possibly started by some old ladies cow kicking over a lantern. But maybe I'm misremembering that bit.

Next historical event to be facted up -  The Battle of Hastings.

Well, it'll be a bit cramped, but we should be okay. There's three settes, a few chairs that can be stripped of their cushions to make emergency beds, and I've a couple inflatible mattresses and thing. Floor space is one thing we're not short of here. :)
I got a double bed, and Scotch has a single. So anyone who wants to share Scotches bed with him,  I'm sure that'll be fine with him.
Seriously, if it turns out to be way too cramped, I can farm a couple of you out to my brother, he lives not ten minutes walk away.

General Discussion / SNOW CATS!
Thu 12/02/2009 18:10:28
Today we got lots of snow where I live - tonnes of the stuff. I went out to the park to frolic in it, in a foolish and child-like manner, and spent a few hours just wandering round in the white, looking at swans and seeing dogs chase rabbits and having all the whiteness make my eyes go kind of funny, like I could almost see the veins in them.

At the stone circle sculpture thing on top of a hill, I made a snow cat. I didn't have my camera with me, so couldn't take a photographic record of this, but here is a snow cat I made another time, for reference.

I was wandering round the stones, looking at the scenery, and a couple and their young daughter wandered up. The guy pointed out the snow cat to the girl, and the mother took a photo of the kid next to it. So my snow cat may end up in some strangers childhood photographs, which is kind of cute.

I wandered around the park some more, making snow cats wherever seemed appropriate, before ending up back at the stone circle again, where I met an old dude. After exchanging banalities about how pretty the snow was, he points at the snow cat on top of one of the stones, observing the scenery, and says "Look, someone made a cat, clever, isn't it?" and grins. So my snow cats have so far brought at least four people pleasure.

Feeling well up on the good karma stakes, I make my way out of the park, and pass a park bench where I made another cat earlier.

Someone else had made another snow cat beside it.

This was when I had me a REVELATION, friends.

Snow cats apparently make people happy, and apparently sometimes make them want to make more snow cats. And if some thing you've done makes someone happy even for just a few seconds, your day has not been wasted.

The world need more snow cats, but I can't do it alone. If there's snow where you are, I want you to get out there and make a snow cat on top of a bin at a bus stop, or on a fence post, or on top of your neighbours car.

With enough snow cats, we can make the world happy.

The snow cat revolution can begin here, brother and sisters.
