Hey now that your in this international-ego-trippin-spree (well deserved!!), what do you say of making a Croatian translation, and then including it in one of our magazines, because i know they are very friendly towards putting stuff on their CD/DVD, especially now when everyone is switchin' to DVD's.

Anyway, for me the biggest news is A VAMPYRE STORY!!
I can not believe that after YEARS of absolutley minimal interes in adventure games ( i think MI3 is the last one that really had the "thing"), I found an adventure which i am REALLY awaiting (all these AGS games are just plain very good, but no more, no offense  ).

I didnt need to read that it was made by ex Lucas Arts employees, nor the stroy, i just saw the screens and i could FEEL that ENERGY!
Those from runaway were OK, but when i saw these!!

But i think us old teams should be able to continue, i dont see why not, maybe we should be disqualified, but believe me, we didnt do THAT much, we(mostly Scumm ) have made a 5 hard day work in this year and a half... So we aint in much advantage.
There is the idea and basic plot progress with some basic BGs.... not too much.
Tho i know LGM and the team have almost half of the game(as I've seen )...

I dont know if i should post this here or on the personal forum, but i'm giving a appeal() to my team and others who arz0r still working on their games ( 1 year and some months later...  )/ suggesting that we try to make the best with Harvey Danger till the new deadline?

If it is not clear:
What i mean is to take the new deadline as valid for the old teams. What do you say?

As this is starting to be a politically oriented thread, I wont talk about my country.
Ofcourse you can see that all of us are very alike.

But I really cant believe that someone really believes in the things that Ryu says.
I'm more on the LostTraveler's side.

Everything (democracy, socialism/communism) sounds good in theory, but in practice there is one huge factor that stops it from being real. That is the human person itself, his greed, lust for more etc. etc.

The only way this world can survive is by socialism/Karl Marx's way, but only when people will start too see that there isÃ,  more that to money.
That means the whole world will have to become more spiritual.
The good thing is that the process has already begun, but the bad news is that the total conversion could come too late....

But you can take sides all you want the truth is that if you dont want it to be like that anymore, you should start asking yourselves the real questions like:

Did anything that i did in my life made it better? ( That's for those kids that are angry at everyone around them)

I think every country's youth follows the trend that is in the world, so now the majority is following the Low-life thugs' way of living, which doesnt necesarilly have to be bad, as the person can later get stuffed with it and figure out that it was just a period in his life
that he had.

I hope i made my point, because i dont have a tendecy of making posts which make a whole lot of sense.

I think you're gonna strangle Gord with your advices, It's not like he can take a guitar to a school and play ballads while everyone is screaming.

It's a little like Migs says.

You just try to be cool, and be confident. If you have cell phones (with you being teenagers, I believe you do), get her number, so that could be easier.
So you be confident but casual, and if you are attempting to ask her out, you should use lines in the style that you say her that you think that she is the cutest girl you've seen in the whole school, but you hadn't time to talk to her before because of the school, so now that it's over you wonder if you two could go to a cup of coffee/drink (that's the way we do it here)... etc.
And try using sarcasm, but in a non offensive way, thats can be used as a substitute for jokes. etc. etc. I can give you a thousand advices, but it all goes around
the stuff that you think that she is really cute and you think that you two should go out for a drink or whatever you do there.

Or do what I do.
When the school ends a few hundred/thousands(?) students (from all schools) go to a place and we all get drunk and then the magic happens , but always be cool.

edit: but if nothing works go and download those NLP books from kazaa. I know that they have them for business, so i think they should have them for seduction(I lie, I know they have them, but nevertheless, I dont need them )
