I love Codename: Iceman. Especially the funny dancing. I'm gonna download this, when I get home.

Guess that's why you made this game and I'm just a simple player. I haven't been able to get a lumptato, but I'm guessing that I had one by accident in the last screenshot (the blue seed?).

To be honest, I haven't really put in an effort in getting a lumptato, because pea-creepers seem to do the trick so far. The large advantage is the fact that in their prime they're worth lots of points AND supply me with 3 seeds. I'm still wondering how many points a lumptato is.

My latest score has been: 2063381.
Again, great game, both simple and complex, and very, very addictive.

The 1.3 million score was done with the latest version. I downloaded after you advised me to.

It takes a shitload of fauxtatoes and pea-creepers. OMG, I've even got the slang down :)!

I'm going insane. This game is addictive.

Yeah, you're right, I updated my e-mail, it was an old address.

You should wait with that prize, by the way. I'm sure people are capable of much higher scores, because I didn't even try that many times (third game?).
#107
No, I guess it's the oldest version. I never re-downloaded the game.

How is this for proof? By the way, I like the game, it's pretty well though out.

I got 421902 points!

Wow, it looks so much better now!

I agree with matzyboy however that the bench needs to face something.

The perspective on the sidewalk is still old I guess. It's the same as the older right wall. Be sure to change that as well.

The trees need some single branches here and there.

Besides clouds you could add some grass in the foreground. You could also make an interesting 'centerpiece' in the open space in front. Something like a garbage bin, a park bench, an anthill or something?

I'd also change the color/texture of either the wall or the building in the backdrop. Their colors match, so I feel you need more contrast to tell them apart.

Slamgrinder, that's great! It definitely makes her look more confident. I didn't get what you meant with a 'half smile' before.

Anyway, I made a new one today. Except for reusing the hair, I made her from scratch in Illustrator. So besides your basic C&C, I'd would like to know If you feel this is the same girl.

1) I realise that if I go with Slamgrinders version or a variation on his version, I'd need to change the facial expression of this one too.

2) There is something wrong with her left foot... I'll change.. well.. something.

3) The white on her hand is supposed to be magnesium powder, does this look like what I intended?

I made a few minor changes based on comments posted her. If I didn't take your advice, don't be mad. If however you are in the mood for some scornful flaming, be my guest.

Here it is:

the second animation i guess isn't a wedgie because he feels no pain and the pants unbutton themselves

it's more of a visual gag i see, the main character probably insults or makes fun of someone elses clothing and then the game shows us what he is wearing and he feels embarassed

You're right, I think, I should have looked better. In that case, should his underwear raise to that level? It seems a little TOO high.

First off, what does C&C actually stand for? Criticism & something or what?

Secondly, I once had a dream of a wonderful adventure game, I might still get there some day, but for now I enjoy visiting these fora, especially the Critics Lounge. I love the artwork that passes around here and the great atmosphere in which people criticize or praise eachothers work.

Now the artwork before you is actually not for a game. I'm currently designing a booklet with Adobe Indesign. I wanted to add some illustrations so I drew this girl for a start. I used Illustrator to draw the lines and coloured her using Photoshop. I don't know what you guys will throw at me, but I think I'll keep her the way she is. I will use all your advice and suggestions for future reference, since I still want to make about 7 more of these drawings.
This is a completely new style for me as well as the method of colouring. So anyway, you may fire at will!

EDIT: I changed this pic to a link so as to cut down on your loading time. See images below.

Not sure anymore about the "keeping her the way she is" part.

1) I prefer the second walk animation. Nothing wrong with the other one though.

2) I recognized the wedgie, but I would suggest you have it jerk more i.e. more frames near the end of the animation or something. Now it looks like his underwear just slides/floats upwards.
One question: How is he being wedgied (how the hell do you spell that?) from the front?

3) Minor suggestion, remove one pixel from the front of his neck to give him both a cool collar and a jaw line. I think his neck looks fat right now.

4) LOVE the style. Has a whole Indy feel to it.

Beautiful art! I really liked it, even though it was only a few screens. Keep up the good work, just don't call me an ass.

Spoiler
I was seriously beginning to doubt there even was a ticket to be found...
