Sorry, I posted before I knew about the other thread.

Narangas just sent me an news story on it -- The story has been the same for the last few hours but they keep editing it to change the death toll.

Pure or weak, it doesn't matter -- at the moment, just play it safe, man.

Barcik: It's inevitable that something like this will add fuel to the "War on Terror" spin, so it's no use saying to fuck all discussion on the subject -- It's still an important subject.

I added a few extra bits -- If anyone has an objection, TOO BAD cause I already added them in and you should have raised objections before I added them.

There's too much Irish here.

Don't you mean British?  ;D

Man, how many times do I have to post this link before people realise I'm right?!

I know very well that Cillian Murphy and Liam Neeson are Irish. I was just referring to Britain as a whole (England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales). And about the Batman being British, here's a quote from Variety:
QuoteFans fearing that the new Batman has taken his passport and moved across the pond shouldn't fret, however. Nolan may be a fan of Bond, and the new installment may be made up of a mostly British cast, crew and locations, but Batman's remaining American.

So there.

Variety is full of lies.

And they're owned by communists.

Well, the reviews are in and they're pretty lukewarm.

Some have praised it, other found it slow and painful.

I guess I'll make my mind up when I see it.

The question is: Who's going to store it? Chris or someone else?
#1531
I saw it all and thought it was visually stunning.

However, it tended to drag in a lot of places -- at times, I was zoning out.

Like the snow-storm episode: there was several minutes of them walking through the snow without actually doing anything particular interesting or enlightning.

I did like the Van Gogh segment, even though Scorsese didn't make the best Van Gogh (I didn't know Van Gogh had a New York accent!).

But I especially liked the way the guy ran through all Van Gogh's paintings -- that was pretty neat.

On the whole, I liked it but I liked Kurosawa's other films more.

So you're saying technically the Irish, Scottish, and Welsh are all "British", just not "English"?
#1533
I'm surprised no one has implemented such a thing yet.

I think this might be the next important step in AGS -- to centralise the resources.
#1534
Actually, I'd like to see a huge resource site too.

You could divide each section into "backgrounds", "characters" (including walkcycles and other actions), "music", "plug-ins", "instagame modules", etc, etc.

People could upload their resources and a moderator/site manager could approve them.

Or you could have a voting system where people rate each resource -- and resources below a certain score get deleted.

Yay!
#1536
This makes the AGS Awards look very pissweak.
#1537
Also, most of the filming locations are British too.

And the director.

And I think most of the crew are too.

Plus, this is IMDB news versus your opinion -- No offense, but at the moment IMDB seems to have more basis for fact.

This is even more entertaining (and emotionally engaging) than Syberia:

A elderly, british gentlemen with plenty of tongue-in-cheek... no, that doesn't sound like Michael Caine at all!
