TK, added!

TheQisSilent , I added Afro Jones to the demo list -- yeap it counts.

Any unfinished AGS games count under the demo category.

Does anyone watch Monk?

I dig Tony Shalhoub a lot and the show has a very Columbo-esque feel to it.

Look at live films as well.

Imagine if someone dubbed a Kurosawa film -- they'd be crucified.

I also think it works in opposite was.

On Monster's Inc, there's a multi-language clip and I laughed my arse off watching Mike and Scully talk in badly dubbed Japanese.

Mabye the Japanese laugh the same way when they hear an English dub of an anime.

"Ho, ho, ho! Those crazy Amerikans!"

Also, On my O Brother Where Art Thou DVD, there's multi-laguage support for some European languages -- But it's a pants-wetter watching George Clooney as a chain-gang member speaking fluent italian.

I like subbed cause the subtitles are funnier that the dubs.

Not only that, Japanese speech sounds so damn wacky when the characters get super-pissed!

No you didn't, you filthy fucking LIAR.

Suck it, Wapanese!

earl: A furry is someone is is obsessed with animals or humans with such athromorphic qualities.

They range from the minor fan -- say someone who thinks this looks cool:

Then there are type extreme fans that dress like animals at conventions and dream of humping something like this:

Then there are the kinda furries that I dig:

Heheheh, he's a Muppet!

From the looks of the, you've got a lot to be proud of though.

I mean, you're associated with four games on the list.

That why I thought it was strange that you, of all people, felt sad from feeling unproductive.

QuoteFrankly, I don't think anyone who uses the term 'Japanimation' deserves to call themselves a geek

I KNEW YOU'D SAY THAT!!!

It's been ages since I've seen anything from Brunching Shuttlecocks.

As you've shown, it was a very funny site (till it closed down).

Oh winge winge fucking winge all of you!

Let me put it like this:

TerranRICH, you are not missing much if you're leaving #ags, so why kick up a big stink?

I hardly go on #ags, it's true -- I only go on if there's someone I'm looking for.

But, it's not cause there are hard-arsed ops or snooby oldies.

It's cause there are OTHER channels out there -- more channels than ice cream flavours at Baskin and Robbins.

I have other interests besides adventure games.

So big fucking deal you don't want to go on #ags -- who cares?

Find another channel -- or better yet start your own AGS channel with your own rules.

Don't just sit there and go winge winge winge!

Bunch of crybabies!

And while on the topic, to all those who get banned from a channel and complain about it: STIFF SHIT, LIFE'S TOUGH, GET OVER IT!

Darth: no, it's just for ROTK.

I don't think I could sit through all three films while I'm drunk in a comfy chair -- I'd either doze off or heckle.

I'll play them both and decide later today.

EDIT: Although both contain the same story, the graphics have been revamped, the rooms are different, the ending is different and some of the puzzles have been changed.

So, I will allow both into the 2003 list.

What is a Photoshop Phriday?

Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used.

See this link:
http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/

And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/

The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.

Also, make sure your image doesn't exceed the width of the screen -- If it does, I will delete it.

-------------------------------------

What do I have to do?

This week's Photoshop Phriday is: "Other Easter Eggs in AGS"

CJ has been a very sneaky boy, putting in secret Christmas messages into AGS.

Let's see if we can find some more.

For example, if you enter a secret code, you find this well-requested feature:

Hop to it!

What exactly did you remake in the game?
#1918
Aye, I'll fix that up tomorrow.
#1919
It's not often I play demos but this one came highly recommended.

Now, I am so looking forward to this game.

Hehehehehehe -- ninjas!!!

I loved that bit especially!

- Penguin English Reference Collection (should come in handy for the rest of my journalism)
- Monty Python's And Now For Something Completely Different
- A travel bag for my trip to Melbourne
- Gold Class movie tickets for Nae and I (using them to see Lord of the Rings in style -- recliner chairs and waiters that serve alcohol)
- Bit o' cash
- Some clothing
- Nice bottle of wine
- Lots of choccy

Best of all:
- a watercolour painting set from Nae!!!

She scored too, though -- I bought her an awesome pair of sunglasses!

The fit her and they're the right style and colour!

I can sooo shop for women's accessories -- I RULE!!!
