Yeap, I'm still doing the AGS Awards, Mike.

I'll be doing a complete site redevelopment soon in a new sylpher.com account.

What is a Photoshop Phriday?

Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used.

See this link:
http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/

And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/

The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.

Also, make sure your image doesn't exceed the width of the screen -- If it does, I will delete it.

-------------------------------------

What do I have to do?

This week's Photoshop Phriday is: "Adventures ROCK!"

I love this image -- It rocks so much:

So, photoshop an image showing musical ability of any adventure game character.

You could turn Guybrush into a folk singer, Manny into the next Robert Smith, Roger into a New Wave singer, the cast of DOTT into an Emo band, etc.

Have fun!

Kings Quest II wasn't released in April-May 2003 -- It was released last year or else it would not be included in the AGS Awards.

I mean, I wouldn't include a game in the AGS Awards that wasn't released yet.

As for a possible n00b outbreak, I wonder what caused the flood of n00bs?

I mean, it's a pretty big fall to go from 65,000 to the current 300,000 or so.

I was walking down the street and I saw a bloody mass on the curb.

So I walked over to the bloody mass and asked, "What happened to you?"

The bloody mass replied, "I'm that M0ds-Yufster joke and everyone has beaten me dry!"

So I kicked it's nads and continued my walk.

Nah it wasn't that -- OK came out last year.

Hmmm, for some reason AGS got very popular around that period and I'm not sure why.

It was in the top 70,000 websites (considering the millions of websites across the world, that's pretty good).

I wonder what happened.
#2287
Yeah, I remember now -- I couldn't stand for weeks after that day.

Does anyone remember what was going on in May in the AGS forums?

I ask because I looked up the site on Alexa.com and it said www.agsforums.com peaked in late-April/early-May, somewhere around 65,000 as a traffic ranking.

Shit, first hacked now robbed.

If there is a God, Rode, I'm gonna kick his ass for you.

And cops are hopeless -- Once, when my old car was stolen, the cops found it and said I had to move it cause it was blocking the road.

However, I could only move the car without touching anything, cause of prints.

How the fuck am I supposed to move it when I can't even touch the steering wheel or gear shift, Einstein???

It takes a certain kinda mentality to be a cop -- a fucking hopeless mentality.

For those who don't know, this is the best emulator IMO for running old unsupported DOS games in XP.

It's still in basic stages, but it's taking shape very quickly.

This just keeps getting better and better.

It sounds eerily like a Mel Brooks line.

Latest version of Goldwave can load/save in MP3 and WAV.

Mills: Don't say another bad word about Eric or feel the pain of my oversized novelty boxing glove in your face.

glamrocksuit: Eric wouldn't even associate with the likes of you -- he's not even with me depsite the fact I'm a "misunderstoon genius" (as one AGSer said recently) and so if he's not with me why would he spend time with a cretin like you?

Naranjas: He'll get more hot love from me than you'll ever get in your entire life, cause he's all that and a bag of chips and you ain't, giarlfriend!

Anyway, yesterday I was talking to Tim Schafer and was telling him how ultra-dreamy Eric was, and Tim says "OMG!! I was thinking the same thing!!" and we started arguing about who was Eric's biggest fan.

I won cause I punched his face, even though he IS Time Schafer.

P.S. LucasArts and Microsoft rule, but not as much as Eric!!1!

I didn't mean you, Pesty -- I mean, a really LAME pirate.

You're more of a kickarse pirate, like Maddox.

Grundislav:
That is the most awesome picture in the world and shows exactly how I feel deep inside.

Here is also a poem I wrote about Eirc (it a love poem and it's a bit soppy):

Eric is so cool
I want to be more like him
But I can't cause there's only
One of him.
Why must society put this terrible
burden on me
and fill me
with angst?
I masturbate while ravens poke at my eyes
And dream of firing a silver bullet
Into corperate executives.
Feel the whip, my pretty!
Destruction!
All fall down...

Now you can all see my romantic vision highlighted in the poem to Eric.

Does it matter?

Yes, I concur, doctor!

Ta, Lay -- It's from my fav movie.

Now, cut the yap about my resemblance to celebs and get back on to Eric:

He's SOOOOO cool, just like Tim Schafer!

I would give Eric all my Tim Schafer adventure games if he'd do this to me:

Yes, I am the very same Daniel Macpherson, and you must be one of those 14-year old girls that kept asking me that on ICQ while he was still popular!

No wonder I deleted ICQ.

I feel the afro-love, my brother -- It's in the air tonight like a Phil Collins song.

As an afterthought, I'm glad Punch has pointed out to all that I'm like some satirical super-genius able to leap from punchline to punchline like Superman bounding over skyscrapers.

Let that be a lesson to everyone -- Don't even think of wasting bandwidth unless your name begins with 'D' and ends with 'GMacphee'.

* DGMacphee flips out and ninja kicks a pirate!!! (Oh, he's so pop cultural in a God-like way!)

Anyway, back to Eric:

HE'S SO DREAMY -- THIS IS HIM:  8)

AND I'M LIKE:  :o

THEN HE'S ALL LIKE:  ;)

AND THEN I GO:  :D

Chris said bandwidth isn't a problem any more.

Besides, I do love Eric, so why can I show such love is this forum!

Are you victimising me because I pledge my love for another man?

You fascist bully boy!

I bet you hate me cause I like black people too!
