I think it was the choice of word "flamed" -- how he interpreted it was different to how you intended using it, if I understand what happened between you and him correctly.

Seems just a miscommunication/misunderstanding between you both. No one's fault, really.

It's interesting people are mentioning movie kisses. I don't find a lot of them too appealing either. The kiss between Robert Forester and Pam Grier at the end of Jackie Brown comes close. I think it's because it's a drawn out kiss with the sexual tension piling up. I dig that.

So what do you all consider the most sexy scene from a film?

The most recent that comes to mind is Mr and Mrs Smith -- The scene where they're beating the crap out of each other. I don't know why, but it was strangely erotic seeing both of them kick each other in the guts. It was pretty violent but I think it was because it was such a wild scene that I found it erotic.  I kinda see that as a good metaphor for an intense sexual relationship, where both people involved are constantly challenging the other. Kinda like having a good wrestle under the sack.

Other choices: Secretary was pretty sexy, same with the Jamie Lee Curtis dance in True Lies,

On the topic of guys-on-guys and girls-on-girls, I just want to say I think as long as consenting adults are having good times with their sexual adventures, then that's a good thing regardless of your sexual preference. Doesn't matter if you're male or female, doesn't matter if you're straight, gay or lesbian. The world needs more people loving each other.

Although there's a lot of talk about eroticism of two women getting it on, I also think some men find it (on a subconscious level) frightening. Mainly because I think men see lesbianism as something that put them in a somewhat obsolete category in regards to pleasuring a women. After all, I do think a woman knows her way around another woman's body better than a man does. Not only that, women seem to relate on more emotional levels together than men can understand. I think this intensifies the attraction and the bond between women and creates a blockage or sense of alienation in men.

I tend to think the sense of alienation creates a yearning. Consider it a barrier that increases sexual longing in men.

Maybe I'm off the mark. It's a different theory. However, I think the blockage that men experience can create greater sexual attraction. It's kind of like how the song goes "There's no aphrodisiac like loneliness". A lot of guys often experience intense sexual attraction to a crush that they view as "out of their league" or "from afar". And it's even more intense when there's such a deep bonding between two women, so it's natural for guys to feel left out on some levels.

On the other hand, I like to make friends with as many lesbians as possible and ask them for advice. Get them to give me a few pointers. Those girls know what they're doing!

Believe it or not, that line was added after the huge fan-following began. Once the fan-following began during the film's post-production, they went out shot a whole bunch of new scenes (to raise the film's rating from PG-13 to R) and included that line.
