DG: There are lesbians in the bible. There are references to sex also :)

That doesn't prove that books like the ones I mentioned are religious.

Besides, I can only think of two references in the bible that relate to lesbianism, and as far as I can remember the bible condemned it (One reference was in Leviticus and other referred to Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis, but that one related to homosexuality in general).

Therefore, it doesn't make lesbianism 'religious' per se, rather it makes lesbianism against Christian religion.

Not only that, but they are only references and thus not actual lesbians in the bible, as you say.

Besides, the word 'lesbian' is derived from the Isle of Lesvos, originating from the poetry of Sappho, thus lesbian is actually more so part of Greek culture than biblical religion.

In other words, you're full of shit, Evil.  ;D

QuoteOtg: Everything is religious is some way... Everything relates to religion

Right, so books like "Lesbian Leather Delight" and "Feel the Whip, My Pretty" are religious.

Gay Adventures are old news!

Play Stickman and notice the homoerotic tension between Doug and Toby.

Then again, they could just be two really good friends!

Or cousins!  ;D

'Screenwriting From The Soul' by Richard Krevolin.

I think this book has influenced my life most in the last couple of years.

Strange, because I've felt something similar.

Not to the point of suicide, mind you, but an empty feeling though.

And I keep feeling I need to fill it with something.

But the question is: What?

Categories like that are too specific for the AGS Awards.

There is already an animation award, which covers walkcycles and everything else.

There is also one for room designs, which includes backgrounds.

There is also one for character design.

As for best concept: Why give an award for something that isn't a tangible production -- If we give awards for ideas, why bother making games?

And as for sprite jams and background blitz: It's hard enough keeping track of the games released over the last year, and damn difficult to also keep track of the different spritejam/bb entries.

Then again, I handed it over to Mods and Kandyman -- Take it up with them, but I believe it's hard enough to run as is.

What is a Photoshop Phriday?

See this link:
http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/

And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/

The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.

Note: Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used.

-------------------------------------

What do I have to do?

This week's Photoshop Phriday is this: "Something's Not Right..."

Ever spot something in an adventure game that just seems out of place?

Well, this time, we're doing that... TO THE EXTREME!!!

All you have to do is take a scene from an adventure game (commercial, indie, or AGS) and make a subtle adjustment so that something appears "not quite right".

Take this scene for example:

Enjoy, you crazy bunch of crazy people!  ;D

P.S. Don't make your images too big or else it will screw up the post.

Legally he IS entitled to it -- he is not infringing upon any copyright laws as he bought the game and thus the company suffered no loss of royalties (And a company needs to prove they suffer loss of loyalties if they want to prosecute -- I studied this topic rigourously last semester)

Yes, all CD Keys are individually determined with individual copies of games.

However, universal serial keys are instituted by the developer, and thus the developer is responsible for the affects of having that key.

If you've legally bought the game, you're legally entitled to a universal CD Key if you lose your old one -- This is because the developer is responsible for the inclusion of that key.

Whether you've bought the game or not is a different matter -- the developer can sue for copyright infringement if you use a universal CD Key on a pirated game because they suffer loss of royalties.

Also, CD keys are not intellectual property -- they do not count as creative material as a result of an idea.

Thus, one company cannot sue another company if their both their products use the same CD key on their two individual product CDs (And that'd be fucking stupid anyway).

I study journalism and deal with copyright law all the time -- Trust me, it's legit as long as you are not infringing upon any loss of royalties the developer.

El Panda, keep in mind you bought Hockey 2002 -- You're legally entitled to that CD Key, despite the Feds' prosecutions.

It's real, Panda!

The Feds are tracking you right now for downloading a CD Key for a hockey game from 2002.

They also heard you once thought about trying marijuana!  ;D

Guns are for wusses!

Hunt some armed inbreds with a bow and arrow like Burt Reynolds and Jon Voight in Deliverance -- that's balls!

I think Moore's whining and self-importance are more used to maximise the emphasis of his satirical take on such things.

Aye -- and Moore's aggresive tactics are rather mild in a world of Rush Limbaugh and Howard Stern.
