Harry Potter Book-a-Minute
by DGMacphee

Harry has issues with his uncle and aunt.

Stuff happens.

Harry then goes to Hogwarts.

Ron does (or says) something stupid.

Hermonine does (or says) something obnoxious.

Harry, Ron, and Hermonie: Hmmm, something fishy is going on in Hogwarts.

They have Christmas and Harry receives something that will help him in the end.

They have a Quiditch game.

Ron does (or says) something stupid again.

Hermonine does (or says) something obnoxious again.

Harry fights the final baddie alone.

Dumbledore: This is why everything happened...

Harry goes home.

Repeat the above for sequels and more $$$!

Damn you DGMacphee for that link in the beginning of these posts... So I went to check what this worth1000.com site was all about and now I'm addicted.

I also thought I was pretty skilled in photo editing, but placing 49th out of 56 in training grounds kinda dropped me back on earth right at my first entry.

Hehehe, I know the pain, dude.

I am also a worth1000 addict.

It's not like it's the Kama Sutra or anything.

For some people it could be. :P You never know what people might do wearing cloaks and carrying a wand.

I think this says it all:

Chopper rocks.

As for the transformation, the question is will it be better than the Bill Bixby-Lou Farringo transformation.

That's the REAL test!

I got addicted to the books last year in January.

I got Nae addicted to them, even though before she read them she detested Harry Potter.

Now she loves it.

However, we're both going 'Bah! THe next book is too damn hyped! Who cares! Hope it's a piece of shit!"

We'll both buy a copy when all the brew-ha-ha has died down, but for christsake it's just a book.

It's not like it's the Kama Sutra or anything.

SSH, don't take my locking of the cat-buttered toast post to heart.

I locked it because it was an old joke and didn't really contribute anything.

Doesn't mean I think you're a pest.

He's Taiwanese.

Born in Pingtung to be exact.

#2791
This is an old joke that has been told a million times before and I see no reason why it should be told again here.

Locked.

I've read reviews that say it's better than your average comic book movie -- it explores issues, etc.

However, I have to wait until it gets released on Thursday.

It is possible.

Although the room scripts are independent of each other, the character scripts are global.

This means that you can set a GlobalInt per character to decide the different actions they perform.

Then, when the main character enters the same room, do a "Before Player Enters Room" interaction and set which action the other character is doing.

For example, lets just say the GlobalInt for one character is 1 for working on a computer and 2 for bouncing a ball in room 14.

When the player character enters room 14 and the GlobalInt for the other character is 2, the player will see the character bouncing a ball.

Let's just say the character then leave for room 15, where GlobalInt is 1 for dancing and 2 for sleeping.

Let's say the player enters room 15 and GlobalInt is 1 -- the player will see the character dancing.

The character's room and other actions can set in the global script's Repeatedly Execute using "character[DUDE].room = 14", etc

This is a rough idea, but improve upon it if you can.

Whenever I go to a public toilet, I always wipe the seat before sitting.

I don't think there's any OCD drugs for my condition.

Maybe a placebo would work.

Mmmm..... placebo.....
#2795
Debating the existence of OCD is like debating the existence of stress.

Or any other psychological condition.

Layabout and I are already death friends.

By the way, he's dead now.

His co-worker found out about the love tryst and hunted him down with a spatula.

This is absolutely true information that I just made up.

For $100 Australian, I once bought an external modem that didn't work.
#2798
Scummbuddy, I had to delete that last post of yours because:
a) the image was unedited
b) the image was too big for loading -- big pictures are fine, but as long as they're actual photoshopped entries

Ghormak: That nuclear holocaust one is tops!

What is a Photoshop Phriday?

See this link:
http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/

And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/

The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.

Note: Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used.

-------------------------------------

What do I have to do?

This week's Photoshop Phriday is this: "When Mittens Goes Wrong"

We all saw the photos from last year's Mittens.

We saw how much fun everyone had.

But what about the photos we didn't see?

Yeap, catastrophe strikes everywhere like Batman does -- Naturally, things are going to go wrong at Mittens.

This week, your task is to edit a photograph to include a Mittens-related catastrophe.

They can be simple:

AGA forgets to buckle-up on the rollercoaster.

Or they can be a little more complex:

The AGS soccer game gets interrupted by a close encounter

It's that easy -- just add, edit, or combine any oddities into a Mitten's photograph to show what happens when Mittens goes wrong.

To find images, just head over to Magintz' page o' fun (Planet Magintz):
http://www.magintz.realbadidea.com/mittens.html

There were some other photos on the Screen 7 page but, as you may know, AD is down -- maybe Mods or someone from Screen 7 has a spare copy of them somewhere and could post a link here?

Have fun and remember -- Be excellent to one another and party on dudes!  8)

EDIT: Thank you for the photo additions, AGA!!!
