when you guys say a "company" are you refering to a situation of "oh ill call my company XYZ" or a situation of actually being registered and paying taxes?

well. as much as i know about asterix and obelix. (owning all of the comics, all of the cartoons and some of the movies plus working on a game for it) i can say there is a slight bit of the style in the images :) but i know its definately not copied from the comics. but the images are looking good.

sorry about that. ive made them smaller and also made theÃ,  full size working version available as well which is actually larger than what i had posted before.

started this yesterday. unfortunately normal work has caught back up to me and i need to start working on my animation again so this is where I'm at in this latest background.

#558
try not to use bryce for your backgrounds. As a 3d artist i usually tell others that if they plan to use 3d in their work use good 3d. bryce was never concidered to be good 3d (sorry to all the bryce users out there.)

it will be lots of work. what ill be doing is to setup all of the day ones scripting in all the general things that will work both for day and night (based on what i need to happen on both day and night) then i will simple make a copy of the day room and replace the background with the night background. then further refine my scripting for the day and the night seperately
#560
I didnt know about the palette thing so when i was designing my backgrounds i used photoshop and make different adjustment layers which allow me to turn on nighttime looks. This way i set things up in ags with two rooms for every area. i couldnt use bacground frames since some backgrounds are animated and i need the frames to deal with the animation. I was just guessing what would be the best approach. basically im a novice so i dont know whats best
