Cool game Boris, I enjoyed it.

Quote from: ras_maxim. How can I improve it? shading\lighting?
I think you answered your own question there.

The second thing that your image needs is some definition on windows, doors and stuff.

Also, you could add some details like: doorknob, some chairs, a lightsource, maybe some paintings,...

Keep in mind that not all Agsers have high speed internet conections (I'm on dial-up myself), so we can't enjoy Adradio if the bitrate is too high (10 sec buffering, 3 sec listening).

Like I already said on irc, good job DJ-ing Vel, Grundislav and Pete yesterday, I really enjoyed it.

You (adradio DJ's) should create a schedule (sp) and post it in this thread so that we know when there are adradio shows.

It's a cult, that's what it is.

You may want to fix the black lines on the floor, and color those nails grey.

Quote- saved as a png file (did that make any difference?)
Yep, the bmp image had 192 kilobytes and the png one has 4 kilobytes.

QuoteI was thinking of perhaps drawing a few lines in a different shade of brown, to look like the grain of the wood. Is that the sort of thing you're suggesting?
Yes, that's what I had in mind, here's an example:

Also, I still suggest you fix the wood colors, the floor blends in too much with the bed and the shelves.

Boyd: the midi version of your wont work for me

Works fine for me, try boosting up the synthesyzer volume in volume control, or, maybe you have some sound card driver issues.

EDIT: Here's my entry:

EDIT: 2nd version:

Evil Lullaby v2

Here's my version, made in mspaint, I:
-added outlines where there weren't any,
-fixed black lines and double pixels,
-added and changed some colours,
-made ceiling lower and added a lamp
-added some shading

Some suggestions:
-try adding some details like power switches, outlets, maybe a rug on the floor and stuff,
-you could also try to add some texture, like to the wood and stuff.
-you know, in mspaint, if you double click a color you can change it's luminousity (sp), that's usefull for creating shadows and outlines,
-also, try actually saving the image like a png, not just renaming the bmp extension

Sending scientists to clone the human civilization after the disaster would be useless because, first of all,Ã,  maybe they couldn't get to Earth right away because it's scorched, radiated, or whatever we did to it, so maybe it would take hundreds of years untill they could return.

If the scientists would start recreating the human race, they would have to find a place to do that, and, if the Earth's atmosphere was destroyed, it could take thousands of years to restore it by planting trees and stuff.

Then, they'd need the rations to feed the clones, and so on.

I guess the DNA museum would only be used like a monument in space proving the Human race existed.

Anyway, a good idea for a computer game.

Wow, that are some major improvements on your BG's, good work.

I repainted the captain a bit:

I have:
-fixed the "puppy" nose
-gave him some abs
-fixed black lines
-fixed double pixels
-his sideview shows that his hands are beside his body, but on the front view it looks like his hands are behind him, fixed that

Nice BG.

Here are some suggestions:
-use grass texture on the ground, and use current ground texture to create a small path coming to the doors,
-I think that the trees are nicely moddeled, but they should have a stump, not just be hammeres into the ground
-the window doesn't look like the window that should be on a small cabin, use a smaller window
-like James Kay said, the wood texture are quite big, but also, the wood looks like it was in a damp place/water a long time, not the kind of wood you would make a cabin of
-keep the yellow light, it gives the BG a sense of warmth

I know, those are lots of suggestions, but I'm just being nitpicky.

I really like all three of them, great work!

You mean the mp3 one? Cause that was made in about 20 minutes, the percs were kind of quickly aranged in Fruity Loops, so yeah they suck.
The song's really not my style, it was made for fun, but I'd like to "upgrade" it to sound better, and maybe even make lyrics for it.

I also went to a funeral, finished school, joined another school, went to seaside. From there it all went downhill, had one of worst summers, returned.

Now I'm waiting for school to start and occasionaly I get drunk.
