Heh, the story reminds me of the Beavis and Butthead adventure game.

Also, what kind of music are you looking for, I mean, what genre?

Wow, the newest version of your tune has improved a lot, those strings really make the difference!

Keep up the good work!

I like it, especially the shading of the moon.

Maybe you could add some stuff in it, it seems empty.

Critics' Lounge / Re: Need help for walkcycle

x2:

I took an old walkcycle that didn't have any arm movement, and I tried to add it but as You can see it didn't work out.
I'm aware that his hands move too far left and right, but I can easily edit that.
The problem is that it looks to symetrical, so it looks like he's moving his both hands in the same direction, unless You look really close.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

PS. The colours got screwed up during the gif conversion.

I like it, reminds me of one of Unreal Tournaments tracks.

I can imagine this track playng during an intro scene or the credits. As far as ingame usage goes, it would work well in some kind of factory background, or futuristic cantine.

Happy birthday!

Is that an USB or CD mp3 player?

Looks good, the only thing you need to do is fix his up and down views so that he moves one pixel up like in the sideview animation.
And maybe add one frame to the talking animation for letter o.

I want a work with computers, or music.
Or a job where i don't do anything and get paid.

But I'll probably end up operating heavy machinery.

I also heard of that technology a few years ago. It was mentioned in Croatian computer magazine and the article was about home use of the 3d printers (called fabbers in the text). Of course, the machines are too big, not to mention expensive so I guess the home use of 'fabbers' will have to wait for a few years.

The article also dealt with posible usage of it, for example you wouldn't have to visit your optician to make your glasses, he would just send you the file with the dimensions for the lenses via the internet and you could 'print' them yourself.

QuoteAs for the emptyness.. any ideas how i could add them (and how i could draw them) I wouldn't be sure on the perspective or angle to add stuff
Umm..Ã,  the same way you drew the barrel and other stuff.

QuoteCOMPLETE WITH OLD MAN IN A CHAIR!!
Fix the old man, he looks like his hands are growing from his hips. Maybe it would be better to create him later as a sprite for the background. It would be easier to make his talking animation if he's wasn't a part of the background.

I really like it, your style has improved a lot!

There are some small 'bugs' on it:
1.Look at the light sources, and then think about shadows, where would they fall, for example the shadow of the square glass thingy should be pointed to the right side because the light source that creates it is at the left side of it
2.the right side of the screen looks really empty, so fill it with details, it's supposed to be a museum so add some exhibits

And what's that thing in the middle of the screen? A man sitting on a chair?

Thanks.

Any critisism on it anyone?

Ok, so making the snare roll effect was a bad idea, so I removed it:
Tune1 Final version

Here's another tune I'm working on:
Tune4
