Here's one ultra mega quick edit:

2x

I tried to make the broken window transparent.

The chair looks great, just add a shadow under it.

Anyway, that's a great background 8)!

Good luck with your game!

Thanx Darth, that helped a lot!

I'll post the new version of the character when it's done.

Here it is:

I've been having problems with adding a texture to the walls, could I get some suggestions with that please?

I know it lacks detail, but as the title says, this is just a practice BG. Also, when I finish with the texturing, I'll add shadows and highlights.

Here are steps of making the BG, if anyone's interested:

1.Drew it on a piece of paper
2.Traced and colored it using mspaint and IrfanView
3.Added some texture using burn/dodge tool in Gimp

Thanks in advance.

QuoteNoctiferia - Fond Of Lies
Hey, I didn't know you're from Slovenia!

I heard Fond of lies, pretty good stuff, actually that's all that i heard from Noctiferia, seen the video on slo2.

I'm from Croatia, BTW.

I would also like to see more music competitions, maybe something like creating a real song with lyrics.

As far as AGIF is concerned, it would be good if each competition would be ran by the previous competition winner.

QuoteMaybe something like a SoundEffectChallenge, where you create a sound effect of maximum 10 sec, under strict rules... then all sounds can go into 1 huge database, and we have our own sounds-resource ;)
I like this idea.

get in the lobby of the pirates guild and pick up a candle from the table on your left. Now use the candle with the burning candle. Go into the casino and open the roulette and use the burning candle on the magnet.

I think that the door would fit better in your new style if they were wider at the top.

It's a great walkcycle, but I seems that when his knee is in the highest position, his other leg moves backwards too far, and you should bend his arm gradually during the walkcycle, it looks weird when it bends just in one frame.

x2

I zoomed your walkcycle using this code:
Code: ags
