AGS Games in Production / Re:AGS MiniGolf

About the Darth's course, I think that the slopes should push the ball down not up, and It would be more difficult to hit the hole if it was on a hill, also it would be better if all the courses would be drawn in the same style.

I will make some music for this great game in the next few days.

Keep up the good work.

I like this style, but maybe there will be problems with placing smaller items in the game. For example: if you use the same filtering on the object like you used on the background, it may be hard to notice, and on the other hand, if you don't, the object may be too easy to locate.

But then I can't play Driver and System Shock 2 and I don't have teletext on my TV card.

What's the use of the compatibility mode in XP when it doesn't work? >:(

1.Creating a zip file with your game in it.

Move the cursor on to desktop and go to New->Compressed folder and rename it
Now you should have a *.zip file on your desktop, open it by double clicking on it and
copy your game files into this  folder and that's that, you have zip with your game in it.

2.Uploading your game on the internet Using www.freewebs.com

Go to www.freewebs.com, select sign me up and register a new account following the steps.
Once registered and logged in select "site manager"
Now click on "Upload a file", select your zip that you want to upload on the internet and click ok and then submit.

3.presenting your game to the community

In the thread where you are presenting your game write
Code: ags
My game

Of course, you don't write down www.freewebs.com/yoursite/yourgame.zip, you write down the webpage you registered and the name of your zip.

I wanted to have an option to choose which windows i wanted to boot when my computer starts.
These are the steps i took:
1.I installed windows Me on my d: partition, autoexec and other startup files were formed on the c: partition
2.Then i installed winXP on c: partition in such way that i can select which windows i want to start

Everything was OK, but something went wrong on my winxp partition and I needed to reinstall it, but i didn't touch the d: (winme partition)
Now I have winxp on my c: partition and winme on my d: partition, but I can't start winme.
I tried to edit boot.ini and I managed to get a screen which asks me what os  i want to boot, but when i select winme i get an error that says that I'm missing hal.dll, which is a winxp dll.
This is what i entered in boot.ini:
Code: ags

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)WINME="Microsoft Windows Millenium Edition"

any suggestions?

Try it now.

The song has been updated.

Here's the character (warning, image size 860kb):

Look at him go!
If character seems to move a bit slow, it's because of the browser, try to open the gif with some external viewing program.

Here's the theme for the character
BadGuy.mid (1:20)

Oh yeah. 8)

Quotethe slow-down on the end is not completely smooth it seems.

Yeah, I know, but I don't know why this happens, i make the tempo slow down in guitar pro and it sounds really smooth, but when i export it into mid something weird happens with it. I'll look into it tomorrow...
#652
I'd like some suggestions on how to improve this midi i made out of pure boredom.
It has 3 tracks: Acoustic grand piano, FX 7 (echoes) and percussions.
Bad Feeling (2:15)

So?

Edit:
Here's the update with new distortion guitar track:
Bad Feeling v2 (2:15)

"there must be one animated background" is my guess.

Quote- One of the characters must be a movie star or a clown

Can it be a fictional movie star?

Quote- Inventory Items who must be in the game is.
One Axe and a book.

Are we limited to Axe and a book, or can we use some more?

#655
What program do you use for making your music?
I'm asking you because the *.ht files i needed to decode with media player.

You should add some more instruments and make some background music so that your mids don't sound so empty.

I loved the music with the percussions, you make really good beats, but give yor music some depth and make it a little less repetitive.
#657
I think that the right mouse button brings out the inventory menu.
