It's not a question of weather it should be visible, more a case of how visible it should be. Try reducing the opacity of the shadows, or softening their edges. I like it

I like the direction this piece is going, but every edge seems under the influence of an unecessary sharpen filter. Also, the foreground seems a little too blurred.
I add a slight daubs filter just for the purpose of sharpening stuff up when i put them on here.
So are you not going to do it for the game? I have to say, I find the white halo around every edge quite distracting and unpleasant.
Also, what's up with the ceiling? Why doesn't its corners match up with the corners of the walls?
Finally, is there any way to deter you from the blurring of the foreground objects? Not only does it not fit the style. Not only is it rather unattractive. But it would also make it impossible for characters to walk across the background. How do you separate the foreground from background when it's all blurry?
This is a great background, though. The change in style between the sketch and the final image is really interesting, too.

I like the direction this piece is going, but every edge seems under the influence of an unecessary sharpen filter. Also, the foreground seems a little too blurred. Certain curves could definitely use some definition to give the objects weight (namely the underside of the bathtub).
You could tweak the composition slightly to prevent the tension the negative space is causing in certain areas. For example, move the toilet paper roll a little to the left so it overlaps the side of the toilet, the shower curtain so it overlaps the showerhead and right faucet, and the shelf so it overlaps the bathtub edge. As a result, the tangents these intersecting lines will appear far more interesting to the eye.

Dan clarke... I hate you!
The night backgrounds did't impress me as much as this one did. It's pure solid gold.
I like the DOTT objects in the foreground, but I think we should be able to see 'em in the mirror, don't you?
One more thing (sorry couldn't resist): This greenish atmosphere reminds me of the Matrix movies...
Cheers mate.
Keep up the excelent job.

I don't know a lot about websites but:
1. For some reason, when I try to click on the images of the p o are t o f o l i o the new window does not stay open. I don't know why. This is probably my fault and not yours or you sites' but just to be on the safe side...
2. When you enter the site, you go immediately to the portofolio section? Shouldn't you first say something like welcome, or something similar?
Other than that I like the layout a lot. The colours a lot. The generall feel a lot.
Generally I like sites that don't use the whole page but are limited.
Good job!
