I worked this out. In UK if u get 1 to 2 Mbps. I get 1000th or 2000th of that for 25$us a month. using wireless 2g modem.  so if it is a 20mb I am getting 20.000th of that!  :o

Yea I will try Google sketchup. One advantage about 3D is it is 100% accurate perspective wise.


@Ali I think this will be a problem about that plug in, I am using the newest beta. 3.2 RC 3. I don't think it is compatible. 

but anyhow I think that the background will be the end of the game anyway. I put like a sign saying exit there now.
Maybe I will also do a painting there like you said.

@aedwards00  Yea it is the walk cursor. I might change the cursors too.

On this game remake I am going to do so many things I have never done with puzzles and scripting. So it might take some time for a bug free game. So far I am happy with what I have done.

Yea but I want to add it. Cause It gives me some space for ideas for puzzles and characters.  This is the first time for me to do puzzles in my game too. This game is all in one building so I like to make the player have the choice to go anywhere in that building. So far I got 6 rooms including the 2 stairs backgrounds.

And 6 rooms to do puzzles is easier for me to think of puzzles.  Otherwise I would agree most games don't show stairs.

Ricco: OK I will change the stairs to a better perspective. I think I just lower it a lot. To make it just visible

I guess you kinda right. Using like 7-8 colors is a bit hard makes it look like a optical illusion. I will work on it make it at least look like a good optical illusion.  Art is not my strong point at all that is why I like.. live in the critic lounge .  Trust me in real life I cant even draw a stick man

OK I have been planning on remaking my game with Puzzles and everything. Only found time to do it now.
And I hope it is OK making a new post for a remake of my own previous game. But I think it is that much of a remake that is nearly completely different besides the story.   8)

[Story]
Still the same story that was in  the previous game   maybe a little bit altered
Is about Lisa who is obsessed with Shaun Binda who has a had a girlfriend for 5 years. But Lisa thinks he cares for her more than his girlfriend. So Lisa just broke up with her Ex-Boyfriend and decides to go out drinking and over parties till 4am and She is in this club and she is sobered up.

Unlike the previous game I will only finish it when It is perfected to me.  
Anyway I am just putting this up for anyone who actually enjoyed my previous game.  

OK I think you guys are right then scaling is not going to work. I will just skip the walking down the stairs and just change it to the other room I have done now.
The honest thing about the 3D thing is I have used 3d graphics a lot in the past couple years and bored of doing 3d. Want to just do 2d.( Which I am not good at either.) 

This room is copy of a real room so cant really change the design  : . This is from the other perspective I have done now.



Also I did change the Table bigger. I have done a few improvements. But I am not going to bother uploading it.

Yay! I loved all the monkey islands in 2D. I even have the CD ROM version of The secret of monkey island or Monkey island 1.


But I still haven't even played the Remake of that one still. But i will one day. Good news though.

markbilly:I think this is how the background will look.  Cause I am sure I can make it work with my character and scaling.

And Monkey: What I am going to do that will be even better is that. i am going to make another background from the perspective from the 2nd floor.

I believe that the internet in most countries work because the more people who have it the cheaper it is and the more it is upgraded. Here it costs 1300 US$ to pay for a 20 MB connection installation. And that is paying as you go. About 100US$ a GB.

My uncle Pays 120US$ for a 512Kb connection really 56 kilobytes a second. Cause only what maybe 500 People pay for it. In UK about 50.000 people pay for it or more. So you should get evil connections. Also there you got competition. Here there is maybe 3-5 internet providers.  

Edit: But anyway I am really talking about something I don't know much about.

OK I think I finally got it I have been looking doing this code in the Global script instead of the room script. Sorry  . Thanks I will practice doing this on the game. Then see where I get stuck Thanks A lot guys  .

Edit: I just tested this code but with Ikey and one object Id 0. And never removed it

all I was saying is. It is Unnecessary. It is just like people with cars. This car can up to 60kmph in 6 seconds but most take 12 seconds. Wow you saving what 5 minutes of your life in a month. But paying 4 times the price.

Don't really need it.  But fair enough if you have the money. But just to me it is not worth it.

Yea I am only just learning Variables

But I keep getting confused.

How do the objects relate to the  variable. 

Do I just tell it to Add 1 to the variable after every hair is removed.

If u ask me anything more then 30MBps is just silly. 1 GB in an hour or so. Any faster you will need to buy terabyte drives. least that is what I think. But what can I say I have the slowest connection. a 10kbps if very extremely lucky. usually 2kbps or 0. Cant even open a web page
