When does that have to do with making enjoyable games. The only thing that matters is if the game is fun. Not if you can script it. Anyone can learn how to script, not many know how to draw or make a good game.

Well if you script,draw,write or anything your a developer if your posting a game isn't it  
and that if you make one game the next will be more fun or better.
Just that you can't get any worse (well.... you hope)  

I think I post in the complete games section like some of you said. I think it ok (for a first try) but maybe not so interesting for other then my family as it is mainly made as a joke for my brother

To Blueangel my game is for a Christmas present for my sister and I am going
post it too so if everybody says your game is rubbish you can just give them my link to my game then they
won't complain  8) .
(Coz my game is so bad my friends said it looked like 5 year old's drawing )

Well I have played some games that the graphics is nearly scary so I don't think that really matters such as Brad Bradson I: Key Quest (by OsUltimo). I am going to upload my first game and I know
I will be criticized like anything for the graphics and game design but if it doesn't kill you can only make you
a better developer. 
and it is made from scratch.

I must say this does looks very good I love the style it just reminds me more of the curse of monkey island
(The 3rd Monkey island i think). At least I got something to look forward to. Just that I hope they will
be a English version or else I am going to have learn German  .

It is quite amazing how many characters you made with just line art like that.
Are you from the 1980's or something  ?? But I think you shouldn't make the characters have
pointed elbows I just don't like it on the 4th last character.

What the real problem is that cause their animated too. I am struggling to make the size smaller and crop all of the frames and I am using pro motion.
I do also have gimp,graphics gale, and paint.net. If you know how to crop them and make the
size smaller could you just send me a quick tutorial please. Usually I don't have this problem
cause I make my own pics but i got someone to make these.

I have absolutely no idea where to put a question like this I need to scale some pic's without
them looking bad to 80px (W) × 120px (H)
Or once cropped I guess it is 60 x 100. well actually I have no idea but i need it to work with a
background that is 640 x 400.


What program could I use? Please help

I need a character artist, animator quite urgently for a character of mine. I have
completed the game just need a couple of characters animated quickly.

Looking good I like the new character too but I think you should make the shorts wider on him When I first looked I thought they were knees ( or maybe that was just me eyes ) .

there I fixed the leg (maybe I should stop playing gory games)

I like the style the skin is colored and the body is black & white. that looks really good.
Gives them lots of character.  

This is my say on the nationality debate  .
I think that all we need to know is really that every country and race is different to another.
why I say every race is different is coz ,why do Chinese,Africans, and watever all have different skin colors cause  we are all different maybe. But that is my logic anyway 

I don't think the differences matter though.
But I know everybody here just loves to argue anyway cause it is fun (so do I)  .

I just downloaded this game and with the visual effects I am quite impressed that you could do these effects with AGS to be honest  . The voice acting of the detective does sound like a bit depressed through  :'( (but I guess that was what you where trying to do  ). The best effects I have seen in AGS for me anyway.  Very good atmosphere. But i don't like the hold left mouse thing to interact but that's just me.
But it is a very good game I am very Impressed
9 out of 10 for the Visual at least

Why do you guys give this kid and his forum so much attention? That's exactly what he wants (now his forum actually gets views and probably a bunch of users and replies or whatever - I refuse to click the link). To be honest, every time somebody replied to one of the spam threads he created here I shook my head in disbelief. You're not helping this forum and there are other places which will penalize users that post "in before the lock" like that, for a good reason imho.

The best reaction to all this would be to just maturely let it go. Yes, he's a kid, yes, he can't spell, yes, he fabricated post counts, is that really something new or special or funny these days? To me it isn't.

I know this post in this thread is slightly on the hypocritical side but I needed to get that off of my chest.

I do agree with you that we should just let it go and forget about it. But then I must agree it is fun to mock someone too. People will forget all of this tomorrow anyway  . In the end this guy got about one day of attention. Wow what a achievement (NOT).
