In the AGS game setup. I think you got "Run in a window instead of full screen" Ticked ( untick it)
Then run on lowest res 320x200. And see what happens. It should work fine. :)

Once you can see that works you can start messing with the filters.

I just want to use the Default Fonts right. And that Option in the script is perfect. It just changes all the fonts to Higher res Or to low res. But I just want it has an option in the game.

Anyway I was just asking if there was a way to change that option. And I don't think there is. So I will just leave it on low res font. Thanks a lot guys for your help.   ;D

Well I had windows 7 once. And it worked fine with me. Now I have vista and still works fine. Did you try putting it on the lowest res then full screen. Just I know some filters can give me issues. Is there no difference in speed with Directx9 and Direct-draw??

I know what you are saying crimson ;) . But if you go in general settings in Text Outputs.  There is a "Fonts Designed for 640 x 480". 
That option I would like to be able to turn that option to true or false. The option replaces all the fonts to a higher resolution fonts. 
I even thought maybe exporting the fonts but that ain't possible.

The option your saying is for custom fonts. ( I think or other default fonts) anyway just look at that option and you will see what I mean.

I got a quick question.

I wanna use the default fonts made for 640 x 480
But I think some people have laptops and cant really read it. I got 1440 x 900 wide screen and can see it and looks neater.

So this is the question can I make a option to turn it off and on. or technically change fonts to the higher res one.

I searched the manual and the forums. So unless I am blind ( Which is very possible  :P)
I don't think anyone asked this question before.


EDit: While I am asking this question. I got another problem with the player walking. When I click with the mouse on a certain spot and I keep clicking ( Not that many people do that) the player stays still but does the walking animation.

This looks absolutely like my game. Looks really awesome.  I will most definitely will play this when you release it. I like the style,the concept even the interface looks really cool.

Nothing about this game I think looks wrong. Except I can't play it.  ;D

This looks good. But is way too dark. Just to say that has to change even though you already said. Like if I played a game that looked like that it would get me to look very close to the monitor to see what is there.

But looks quite a scary looking background. Without any characters or anything. Just slightly brighter and I think it will be good enough. I like the style quite a bit too. ;)

Anyway good luck. I would like to see your game ;D

I agree with a lot of what Questionable said. It does look too paper cut out. and is now too under exaggerated.

Yeah I agree. Also the best would be to higher the eyes. The eyes being just as low as his nose is a bit weird if you ask me. Or maybe just changing the color of the eyes will help.  

But besides that looks really good. The clothes, the colors

Great Animation. Just a few character art issues I don't like such as pointy nose and hands.

Only thing I kinda think about the animation is the 3rd frame looks more like his right arm is going back. Not forward.  I have never been good at animating but that is what I see.

Also for the character size depends on the backgrounds. Also if you use walkable area scaling. And when I say the backgrounds I mean perspective wise.

There is my criticism (coming from me who cant even do a walk-cycle.)   ;D

Yeah got to agree. The despair part was quite hard for me. I tried to make it a scary sounding beginning.

@Le Woltaire you always win it is unfair  ;D
Anyway everyone's attempts were quite good if you ask me.

But I enjoyed making that track and I will keep participating in this competitions it will improve my music a lot.

I thought it was James Bond. The gun the pose. Really good Pic though. Reminds me somehow of a old style game I played once. 10 years ago or so ;D

Just updating I am nearly done. I think within the next week or so.

Story 100%
Puzzles 100% 
Characters 100%
Scripting 98% ( Just a few bugs)
Music 100%
Dialogs: 99%  ( basically spellings and grammar)

Only thing left really is testing which is in the process. I know I said it will take a while but I just been working on this like crazy. Also awhile to me is like a whole month :P

Like Prince of Persia is a cool style. just defend and attack style. It really depends on the game you want. A goofy style or a realistic style.
I myself like both. Monkey Island and Prince of Persia. But would say Prince of Persia is easier simpler and is less frustrating. (Sometimes) :P

Only style I hate is like RPG game styles. turn-based style I mean. They are really boring to me.   I think Action-based style is much more fun to me.

there is my advice anyway ;)
