Super easy one to not hold up the thread too long this time.
Oh come on. That is super easy.
It's clearly Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow. (laugh)

When I finally get access to my computer again (probably next month), I'm going to add a title screen, credits screen, and a save and load button on the status bar.
Well it's taken me awhile, but I finally updated the game.
There's now a save and load button available from the status bar. As well as a title screen and a credits screen at the start and end of the game respectively.

I've also included the Linux version, even though it basically doubles the size of the game. (You don't mind downloading 40mb do you?)

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is free on GOG.com until the 21st of September.

I actually already own this game in physical form. But a digital version can't hurt. :-D

And thanks for lending your many voices Danvzare
I wish I hadn't run out of time, because your smarmy car salesman was my favorite.
I wondered where that guy was. Now I know. (laugh)

Yay, I got it. :-D
It's amazing how identifiable the aesthetics of that engine is.

Let's see if anyone can get this one.

Time Commando?

I found out the game, because the current screenshot looks a little like it was made with the Little Big Adventure 2 engine, so I just checked out what other games that company made.

And I'm horrifically ashamed to know this :sealed:
Don't be ashamed. They were good games. Funny, short, and reasonable puzzles. Arguably better than all of the Leisure Suit Larry games as well. (laugh)
Such a shame that we'll probably never see the third and final entry in the series. :~(

Now as for the current screenshot. Um... Mission Critical?

Spirited Away (I don't usually dig anime, but I LOVED this movie!)
If you liked Spirited Away, you should watch the other films by Studio Ghibli. They're like the Japanese version of Walt Disney with how many great animated films they've made. (By the way, once you've watched them all, you're quickly realise that Spirited Away is mediocre at best. And I think that, even with the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia.)
The best one so far I think is Grave of the Fireflies. A word of caution though, that film WILL MAKE YOU CRY! It's the best film they've made in my opinion, but I certainly would never watch it again.

I highly recommend almost all of their films. Rather than list the films I do recommend, I think it'll be much quicker to list the films I don't:
Only Yesterday
The Cat Returns
Tales from Earthsea.

As for the rest of the films by Studio Ghibli, I recommend them wholeheartedly.

The first game that comes to mind for me is Fire by Daedalic Entertainment.
I'm kind of surprised no one has mentioned it yet.

Big congratulations HanaIndiana! You deserve it for the great game. :-D

For Sam and Max, the squeezie thing in the USE icon.

And while I know the game isn't in your list, I've got to mention the lucky piece of coal from Broken Sword 2.
