Ok, played it. What an adorable little game. :-D
A few things to note though. Having an installer for such a short demo, seems a bit redundant. Why not just put it in ZIP file?
Also, it took me a while to figure out how to switch inventory items, so maybe make those parts of the snowflake stand out more.

Other than those bits, I thought this game was absolutely adorable. I especially loved Penga's reaction to his teddy bear falling apart.

Sorry for potentially stealing your win there Kumpel.
I'll do you proud.

Hmm, sorry about that bit of mis-information there. I must have gotten some of my wires crossed. (laugh)
I'm glad you managed to figure it all out.

The real area of concern is whether anyone will play the game more than once.
Just put in a choice at the start of the game which determines which one of two possible endings you can get. And point out at the end of the game that you could have gotten a different ending if you had made a different choice at that point. And there you go, you've just gotten half of your audience to play the game a second time.
It'll also annoy everyone, but hey, it'll work. 8-)

Sorry for the slow response.
Spoiler
You need to clean it.
Spoiler
There's a dish cloth in the kitchen sink.
Spoiler
You can wet the dish cloth by turning the tap on and putting it back in the sink.
Spoiler
You can clean the cushion with the wet dish cloth.

When I posted about actual production processes I only got 11 replies, and about 3 of them weren't actual answers to the question.  I don't have a problem with someone not wanting to answer me, but I figure if there were more people that used AGS and then I asked a question I'd get more answers.
I think that's a pretty decent number of replies for this forum. As for the replies that weren't "actual answers to the question" you've got to remember this is a forum, which usually means we discuss things.
Still I get what you mean. While this isn't a quiet forum, it's also definitely not a bustling one.

Okay so to bring me back to a point, I'm now moderating the sub, and I want to ask if it's okay if I link to the "finished" ags game posts in the completed game announcements forum?

More eyes on completed AGS games can only be a good thing, but I thought it might be a courtesy to ask first.

Please keep in mind, my goal is NOT to convince you guys to go over to the subreddit from here, but since the posts will automatically post to /r/all it should mean we start getting more eyeballs on AGS which potentially means we get to expand the community more.
Personally, I see no problem with this. If you can garner a larger interest in AGS and get us more AGS users, then I say go for it.
The more the merrier.

As long as you aren't in the 100,000 range, I'm sure it'll be fine.
Computers nowadays have an abundance of memory.

Then my guess is that it's from the first Lord of the Rings movie.

1st: Mandle (Because that is the greatest invention I have ever seen!)
2nd: Gurok (You never know when you might need a perfect 1/1000th scale replica of Manhattan.)
3rd: Ponch (The perfect accompaniment for my cassette tape and recorder.)

The new functions usually do the exact same stuff as the old functions. They were changed to migrate the engine to a more object orientated language. Which is generally considered easier to code, read, and generally work with.

I'd highly recommend you stick with the new functions, because the old functions were only left in there for people who import their projects in from an older version, as far as I know.

When you import a TTF font, it stays as a TTF font. If you import a different type of font, such as a SCI font, then it becomes a WFN file.
In short, you're not going to be able to edit the output of importing a TTF font.
But you can convert a TTF font to a WFN file which you can edit. Here's the link: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=49611.0

Typical piece of junk. (laugh)
I bet there isn't even a keyboard to get it to reset either.

I have a dialog topic with several options ..., one of these options contains more than 200 characters of text ...,
Woah that's a lot of text for one dialog option. It must cover half the screen! 8-0

If I had to take a guess, I'd say your problem was due to a limitation of the engine (don't quote me on that though, I could be wrong).
But if I had to suggest one way to fix your problem, it would be to cut down on the amount of text in that dialog option. Cut it in half, and put the other half in a follow-up text from the character. I'm sure there's got to be a full stop somewhere in that dialog option where you can split it.
