Very nice indeed, and a good likeness of the character. Nice artstyle as well.

The only bit of critisism I could give, is the 90 degree angle on Johnny's left shoulder (the right side of the picture).
Personally, I'd smoothen it off a bit, like this:

Ah, Pokemon Essentials. Great and easy to use engine. :-D
The only reason why I've never made my own Pokemon fangame is due to the sheer amount of pixel art that would be involved for the main character.

What kind of help are you looking for exactly?

Also, why do all of your characters have animal tails and ears?
I don't have a problem with it, it's just that they kind of looked forced and out of place.

Since this seems to have turned into a thread that's solely about conspiracy theories (regardless of how stupid they may be), how about this one.
Governments propagate conspiracy theories to both discredit conspiracy theorists, and to distract people from the real conspiracies.
A good example is using a tin foil hat to stop them from reading your mind, because in actual fact, it would amplify signals not dampen them!

And AnasAbdin is right!
It's Bunraku.

Sorry for the late reply. I've only just now gotten access to my computer.

Over to you AnasAbdin.

DO IT!!!

If you want to do something, then usually the only thing holding you back is yourself.
So have fun. :-D

I may end up joining this.
It definitely seems like an interesting and fun topic. Here's hoping I find some inspiration though.

That was a game? 8-0
It just looks like a really well drawn picture!

Well if it's an awesome game, I should look it up.

The problem with making a game at 1920x1080 isn't a question of whether they have a good enough graphics card (I had a graphics card that could handle that resolution on a Windows 98 computer), but rather a question of whether they have a good enough monitor.

If the game can be downscaled without too much problem, then go for it. Otherwise, I recommend picking a resolution that more monitors can handle. I usually find 1280x720 to be a good compromise. There a few monitors which can't handle that resolution, but those are usually things like notebook computers.

I think often that swearing and other vulgar stuff is just jarring and pulls me out of the game when it's overdone. More often than not it seems so forced, light sprinkles of this stuff is plenty I don't play games to be shocked I do it for fun.
So definitely true. The best example I can think of is the Thief series. In Thief 4, they stopped using the made up swear words (like Taffer) that had been prominent in the series up to that point, and started to use real swear words, it suddenly destroyed the charm of the series. Not only that, but the sheer quantity of swearing, kind of ruined the immersion for me as well.

Showing them being these awful people is funny to me, because it's clear that everybody else around them (well, not everybody, of course, but the majority) are more in line with how I feel about the world. When I play Beavis & Butt-head, I get the feeling that the two main characters are the sexists, the problematic people. When I play Leisure Suit Larry 5, I get the feeling that it's Al Lowe himself. Doesn't mean this is the truth, it's just how I feel.
While I've never played Leisure Suit Larry 5 or Beavis & Butt-head in Virtual Stupidity (the latter of which is on my to-play list) I do completely agree with you here.
As a matter of fact, I think what you described, is what makes or breaks anything comedy related for me.

I had no idea it was released for the Amiga. I played the Windows version.

Ok, how about this little gem.

Wait a minute!
I've play that game before! 8-0

It was some sort of multiplayer roguelike, and I found it about six years ago. I don't have the game anymore though, and I certainly can't remember the name, but I have definitely played that game!
Time to go find out it's name I guess.

EDIT:
And found it.
The game is called Knights.
I only had to look up multiplayer roguelike, and I found it instantly. :-D

You're right! I'm sorry I thought this was a forum about adventure games, not one only for a specific framework.

Your game isn't even an adventure game. :-\
Which would be ok I suppose, if your game was made with AGS. It's just confusing that you would make a post about a non-adventure game on a forum which you thought was specifically for adventure games.

But still, we have another sub-forum for these types of posts. :-D
I'm sure someone will move your thread soon enough.
