Well, apparently he directed and did the writing for at least one of them according to imdb, and there's not been much money in any of those films. I'm fairly certain he picked evangelical films because he likes evangelical films.

For what it's worth, God is Not Dead is a hilariously bad film - an extremely crass oppression fantasy in which Christians are silenced by moustache-twirling atheists. It's unpersuasive in terms of proselytizing, because it fundamentally misunderstands what atheists think. It centres around an atheist/Christian debate, in which the participants do nothing but quote famous scientists at each other. There's no concern for things like evidence or reasoning; Hawking and Einstein are just invoked as if they're were the saints of atheism. It's a style of Christian argumentation and the writers don't seem to be aware that other people do debates differently.

Kevin "disappointed" Sorbo gives the best performance in it. Which should be all the information you need.
That honestly sounds like the way stuck up atheists think Christians see atheists. Are we certain that the film wasn't made by atheists? Because I could definitely see myself making a film like that.  (laugh)

Good to know Crimson, unfortunately the crashed agf either .bak and normal were empty. Probably shut down on creation of a new ones. By the way i spent all yesterday to mirror a backup so at the end it went good, thanks guys.
Glad to hear you got it sorted out.
It sucks when stuff like this happens, but it does. At least you had a backup for the worst case scenario.

So far these mutations seem to just be "more infectious"... just think if it mutates to "more deadly"? or "more infectious & more deadly"?  8-0
Here's something to think about. If it was equally as infectious, but less deadly, it would appear to be more infectious as more people would walk around without realizing that they have it, and therefore infect more people. And keep in mind that if you come down really bad or even die for that matter, you're less likely to pass it onto someone else as you'll stay in bed. So it stands to reason that mutations that are less deadly, will also be more likely to spread. Meaning as time goes by, a very infectious virus should in theory become increasingly less deadly. Or at the very least, have a longer incubation period.
Also don't forget that your body starts to build up a tolerance to it (or at the very least, those who don't die are already likely to continue to survive).

In other words. There's a reason why the common cold was so deadly to anywhere we brought it to, yet it's now considered harmless everywhere. Not to mention how plagues in the past just kind of... disappeared.

Once again though, please take all of this with a pinch of salt. And if possible, I'd rather be corrected then continue to be wrong.  :-D

Though I've always thought food should be like female characters;

                                 STRONG
I like my female characters how I like all of my characters... well written.  (nod)

Also, from the sound of it, I think my mother would really like that surstromming.
She likes really strong smelling fish you see.

An Update:   According to the latest news bulletin, the jab will provide five months immunity. It might not work
for everyone and those vaccinated can still carry the virus. Big deal!  I would expect better protection, over a much
longer period.
You've got to remember, that's probably only an estimate. Since I doubt anyone has been injected with it five months ago. Then of course there's mutations, so it's limited even in that capacity.
As for those being vaccinated still being able to carry the virus... uh.. yeah, that's how vaccines works. You just won't carry the virus anywhere near as long if you're vaccinated, when compared to when you're not.

Then again, I'm clearly no expert. So if someone here is better informed then me, then feel free to correct me.

I solved that!
the VolumeReductionWhileSpeechPlaying attribue under Audio->Music was not set properly!

Thanks to me :-)

Thanks for posting your solution. I remember encountering the same problem years ago, and I just thought it had something to do with audio types.
It's nice to know what the actual problem was, and how to solve it.  :-D

I don't want to be caught in the crossfire, but... can't we all just get along? :) I mean this is just a web forum.
Unfortunately, as long as someone misinterprets having a different opinion as an attack on their identity, it will always be impossible for us to get along.  (wrong)
And unfortunately that fight or flight response is built into us as humans. So we're destined to never get along... unless coincidentally we all like the same thing. Speaking of which, does anyone here like adventure games?  (laugh)

Can't stand the taste of beer, milkanannan, so the cheekiest I will get to telling 2020 where to go, is with a cup of tea topped up with a tablespoon of whiskey.
Anymore than that and I would be flat on my back  :)
I personally can't stand the taste of alcohol altogether. But with that being said, there is some Dandelion and Burdock alcohol I like to get around this time of the year. When you put a bit in a glass and top it up with actual Dandelion and Burdock, it makes the Dandelion and Burdock taste even more like Dandelion and Burdock.  :-D

I feel like I've stumbled upon one of the most meaningless hotly debatable topics in the world.
Because despite your views on the matter, the fact is, we're talking about books in schools.  (roll)

To re-iterate what others have already said, schools don't exactly have their students read books all of the time, and there are way too many books for anyone to agree as to what should be read by everyone. So arguing about censorship sounds like a moot point. There's no room for the discussion of censorship in that environment, as it quickly boils down to either:
"This should be censored!" "Yay! But it wasn't going to get read anyway!"
or
"This shouldn't be censored!" "Yay! But it's not going to get read anyway!"

I personally think there's more purpose to arguing whether or not Batman should be depicted as killing people or not.

I don't know if this will help, but I know that this Russian board has a section dedicated to AGS: https://vk.com/board17976818
(I'm not Russian, I just know about it because of this forum.)
Also, there are other language versions of the AGS forums. And let's not forget that Italian forum that's been translating the Maniac Mansion Mania games.

I really hope, and suspect, that this is just a clickbait article concerning some fringe idiots who will go ignored, but published for the meanwhile to stir up some outrage and views.

9 times out of 10, stuff like this usually is just bait.  (nod)
It wouldn't surprise me if it was true though. Not that it would mean anything. I doubt any kid in the US is going to read a 70 year old book (or any book for that matter) unless they're forced to.  (laugh)

Hap....No, scratch that.  Crappy New Year everone. (I'm sure it will be  :) )
I'm sure next year will be better than this one. So, maybe for once a Happy New Year is indeed in order.

Also, who wants to bet that we haven't heard the last of this Brexit deal. By the way, I still hate that name. It sounds like a cross between Weetabix and Breakfast.  :-\

After a period with masks inside commercial and public places, and continued infection increasing (and deaths), we're now going in for a new lockdown. Big commercial centers will be closed from tomorrow already, from monday a few more stuff will be closed (including schools and free-time activities) and from 25th Dec. everything, except supermarkets and pharmacies, will be closed until 3rd January.

That's pretty much what's happening here, too. The plan was for the relaxation of rules for the Christmas period to last until into early January, but now it's back to total lock-down on the December 26th.

It's almost as though no one has any idea of what to do.  ???

I remember when I first started using AGS.
After going through the tutorial that came with the manual, I loaded up a 9-verb template and tried to make my first game.
I managed to figure out how to use all of the verbs, by simply looking at how it was done in the example room in the template. No tutorial necessary. I learnt it myself. I then proceeded to learn more and more. It took me waaaaaaaay too long to figure out how to make a functioning door though.

But it's time to stop reminiscing and be helpful.
I've got the 9-verb MI-style template here, so this advice might not be perfect. I don't know if you're using the Tumbleweed template, or if that's any different.
Firstly, look at the room scripts in the template. They should give you all of the examples you need to do anything and everything.
Secondly, looking at it the room script in mine shows this:
Code: ags
function cup_AnyClick()
{
  if (MovePlayer(108, 100)) {
    // LOOK AT
    if(UsedAction(eGA_LookAt)) {
      player.Say("It's a blue cup.");
    }
    // USE
    else if(UsedAction(eGA_Use)) {
      player.Say("I'd rather pick it up.");
    }
    // Push
    else if(UsedAction(eGA_Push)) {
      player.Say("It might break.");
    }
    // Pull
    else if(UsedAction(eGA_Pull)) {
      Unhandled();
    }
    // PICKUP
    else if(UsedAction(eGA_PickUp)) {
      player.Say("Okay.");
      any_click_walk_look_pick(108, 100, eDirectionUp, "You are now mine.",oCup.ID, iCup);
    }
    //USE INV
    else if(UsedAction(eGA_UseInv)) {
      Unhandled();
    }
    // don't forget this
    else Unhandled();
  }
}

Which I think is pretty self explanatory.
You just need to use a bunch of else ifs, which include UsedAction(eGA_Open), UsedAction(eGA_Close), UsedAction(eGA_Push), and UsedAction(eGA_Pull), to be able to recognize when those verbs are used on something.

If it wasn't for the modern technology in the background, it would kinda look like a screenshot from a Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I'm not sure why.  :-\

Is it perhaps from American Horror Story?

I also have a feeling that more women play these types of games than other genres. This is not a post trying to say "we need more female devs" or something like that, I'm just curious if this is a genre that is more female dominated.
Based on complete conjecture and meaningless anecdotal evidence, (meaning take what I'm about to say with a pinch of salt,) I've noticed that first person adventure games seem to appeal more to middle-aged and older women. And third person adventure games seem to appeal primarily to Europeans.
There's probably some market research out there that can more concretely tell you what demographics different genres appeal to.

It would of course be easy to assume that the demographics that a genre appeals to, would more likely attract people from that demographic as developers. But you know what they say about assuming.  (roll)

I have personally never seen gender play a part in someone's preferred type of artwork, such as 2D vs 3D. So I highly doubt that would influence the numbers.

As for the ratio between men and women AGS developers. If I had to make an uneducated guess, I'd say about 65% men and 35% women. That's probably wrong though.
